Ch.3

We followed the directions and about halfway there we got to a bog.
"Well shit" My sister said.
"I was thinking the same thing" I replied. We walked around the bog and somehow managed not to die, which was surprising.

"Now which was do we go?" I asked my sister . "It says go threw that cave over there which is really weird but hey , if grandma said to we might as well just go" She said.

She was right . So we started walking toward the cave and went out the other side . This seems very familiar but I can't place it .

That's when I turned around . " Oh my god." I said slowly . And there it was .
The children's home.

We walked to the front door and knocked 3 times .
A woman we know as Miss Peregrine opened the door. " Can i help you ?" She asked politely.

" oh umm yes , this is from our grandmother who just passed away . She told me to give it to you ." I replied.

"Oh . Thank you . And what's your names ?" She said.

" Piper and Emmy Elephanta ." My sister said.

"Oh my goodness . Come in come in. Would you like some tea?" She asked.

"No thank you but do you have some clothes we could borrow? Ours are covered in mud" I said looking down at my outfit.

"Yes of course . Emma , come here for a moment please" Miss Peregrine asked loudly .

"Yes Miss peregine ?" A girl about 17 thats in my book but now in front of me said.

"Can you take Emmy and Piper upstairs so they could get ready for dinner please?" Miss P asked again.

"Of course. Come on" she said to us.

We walked into her room and Emma pulled out 2 dresses for us to wear.

"We have about 5 minutes until dinner so you can meet everybody than." Emma said . She than left the room so we could get changed . I got a light blue dress that went down to my knees . It had a bow in the middle and and t-shirt styles sleeves.

Once Piper and I were changed we opened the door and went down to the room where I heard a lot of talking .
Once we opened the door the talking stopped and everyone looked at us. It was really freaky because not even a day before I was reading about them.

"Come in girls , take a seat." Miss P said. We walked in and I felt all eyes on me as I sat beside Emma.

"Why is there a naked boy sitting right there?" Piper asked out loud .
"You can see Millard ?" Emma asked .
"I guess so" piper replied.
Everyone was looking at Piper when a gasp was heard and a chair I thought no one was in skidded backwards. Except I felt a pair of eyes on me. I turned and saw a boy at the end of the table with brown curly hair and brown eyes staring/glaring at me. I turned back around and looked at Piper who sat down in an actually empty chair that was placed beside the one Millard was in .

Once Millard was back Miss P said we could eat and Piper and myself got bombarded with questions .

When Miss P spoke up "Now now children , introduce yourselves and then you can ask questions" 

Everyone began to introduce themselves when it got to the boy at the end .
I started fiddling with my necklace and he seemed to notice .
" Where did you get that" the boy shouted .
"Mr. O'Connor, polite people do not shout at the table" Miss Peregrine scolded.
"No. That the one I gave to Olive . Where the hell did you get that?!" He said still shouting .
"My grandmother gave it to me" I said not as loudly .
"Bull" was the only thing he said before he stormed off .

"I'm sorry for that girls. Now why don't you introduce yourselves." Miss P said calmly .

"I'm Emmy Elephanta and this is my sister , Piper Elephanta"

"Like Olive Ambroholo Elephanta ?" A little girl named Claire asked.

"That's our Grandma" Piper spoke quietly .

The entire room went quiet and then a Hugh asked "what's your peculiarities?".

"Bringing things back to life and seeing Millard apparently" Piper said proudly.

"Wait what" I said to here .

" Yeah it's really cool" she said back .

"What's yours Emmy?" Claire asked me .
"I don't know" I said to Claire .

After that conversation the rest of dinner was quiet. Once it was over Claire grabbed my hand and Bronwyn grabbed Pipers and dragged us to the backdoor . Emma handed us gas masks and we put them on.

We all stood looking at the house when a bomb fell. Piper squealed while I just stood there watching .

It was about to hit the house when time stopped . I looked in a window on the house and saw Enoch glaring at me .

what's his deal tho . Whatever I'm not going to waist my time thinking about why a boy hates me.

Time went backward and it was once again September 3 1940.

We all walked back inside when I said " come on Piper , its time to go."
"Awwww can't you stay" Claire said jumping into my arms.

"We'll be back tomorrow morning" I promised Claire.

"Ok" she said excitedly while she ran upstairs with Bronwyn .

Once we left we walked back to the pub and up to our room. Waiting for tomorrow morning to come .
