Fire and Flame

Chapter 2

At the end of the day the girls stared to walk back home.

"This morning was amazing!" said Bethany

"I know right! We totally got Miss Huff!" shrieked Lillo.

"But the rest of the day wasn't so good" moaned Bethany.

"Right?! It was so flipin' boring! Like! They need to make school more exiting one way or another!" grumbled Lillo

"Oh! We're home! Come on how did we nearly miss is? Lets go! Wanna come in to my house for a while? Or have a sleepover? You're next door you can get your clothes and things! Or just climb on the board that we have going from my bedroom window to yours! Actually that's to risky and wobbly isn't it you can just go get your clothes no-" Bethany said quickly before Lillo interrupted her.

"Bethany! Shut up! Sorry but, not tonight. Its family dinner night at my house and its my turn to cook. I'm already praying my mum doesn't keep coming in to the kitchen asking if I need help or that I'm doing things wrong while I try and make my Spaghetti Bolognese!" Lillo snapped.

"Oh. Okay. Well, bye! See you tomorrow!" said Bethany.

"See ya!" yelled Lillo while walking up the path leading to her front door.

"Spaghetti Bolognese? Really? She's skipping an amazing sleepover to make Spaghetti Bolognese?" muttered Bethany to herself.

The next day Lillo woke up and got in to her school uniform. Went downstairs to have breakfast, came back up and did her hair, brushed her teeth, and did her makeup. Then she grabbed her bag and left while shouting

"Bye mum! Bye dad! I'm off to school!" and her mum replying with

"Your dads already in work darling! I'll tell him you said goodbye! Have a good day in school! Love you!"

"Of course he's at work already. When isn't he at work at 7:45am?" Lillo mumbled as she walked out the door. She then went over to Bethany's house and knocked on the door. She heard a faint yell of

"I'm coming! Give me 5 more minutes!" from Bethany up in her room. So for that next 5 minutes while she waited for Bethany to finish getting ready she played games on her phone and watched some TikToks.

Finally Bethany came racing out her big black front door shouting

"I'm here! I'm here! Okay lets go! We can go now!"

"Okay! Finally!"

"Its not my fault I'm slow at getting up!"

"Well it kind of is. Because if you went to sleep a few hours earlier than you do instead of texting me at 2 in the morning then maybe-"

"Okay okay! You've made your point! Now the school is there! Come on! Race you!!" Squealed Bethany, racing off to school.

"She is mad. And she talks too much." Said Lillo, chasing after her.

At lunch time, Lillo and Bethany sat with their 'group'. In this group was of course Lillo and Bethany, a boy named Alex, a girl named Emjie, some other girls named Summer and Hazel, and some other boys named Luke. Jamie and Daniel. I know, big group right?

Alex, had sandy colored hair, blue eyes and had a really funny personality! He would always be making everyone in the group laugh with his endless jokes and funny faces.

Emjie, had dark black hair, brown eyes, and was also very funny. She got it from Alex, he kind of taught her how to be funny. They're a couple so, yeah. A really cute couple too! They are always taking cute selfies and things like that!

Summer, had a dark blonde hair, and deep blue eyes. She was the sensible one of the group. But she did laugh a lot. She was kind of stubborn too. If you told her to do something the answer would be no. Just no. Unless you're a teacher obviously because she doesn't want to get in trouble. She's a good kid. Anyway, that's why we've all stopped asking her to do things now. We're just used to it. People are also scared of her. Now don't ask me why! They just are.

Hazel, had dark brown hair, and well, hazel brown eyes. She was crazy. She would do anything! If you told her to jump off a cliff, she would do it. It was also very easy to make her laugh.

Luke and Jamie where basically the same, but they weren't brothers. I know. Weird. Both black hair. But Jamie had blue eyes and Luke had brown. They both had the same personality, very crazy. full of imagination, all those mad personalities.

And lastly, Rhys. He had browny-blonde hair, and blue eyes. He was just a normal human being. Talks a lot, laughs a lot, all that.

So, whilst everyone was eating their fish fingers, chicken nuggets. pasta. whatever everyone had, they would basically spend most of their time eating watching Emjie and Alex take selfies. They where inseparable. Literally. So they ate their food, spoke, all took selfies and things like that, what normal teens do. But then, the bell went and they had to go back to class. They all said goodbye and walked off to their next classes and when it came to about half way through, the fire alarm went off!
