My cousin lives in Los Santos ya know"
Wade’s words suddenly became interesting.
“Really?”
I replied.
It had been a few days since my haze dream of Michael and I still had to know if it really was him. I looked at Wade and said,
“How well do you know this cousin?”
Wade seemed to think about it for a while – the alcohol and drugs probably didn’t help.
“Not that well really. I know he’s got a new girl and he really likes her. We were kids the last time I really saw him"
I smirked and patted him on the leg,
“Well, I think it’s about time we held a family reunion for you guys"
Wade frowned at me,
“I’m not sure that’s a good idea T"
I laughed and said,
“Sure it is – I’ll finish what I gotta round here and then we’ll be off"

It took a few days to finish my business but soon me and Wade were bundled into my truck and heading to Los Santos. I always found it amusing that Wade travelled in the back of the truck and not in the front. He would bounce around for the whole trip with no complaints.

As the sun began to fall, I pulled the truck to a stop as Los Santos began to appear over the horizon. Wade looked at me but didn’t say anything. I got out the truck and walked to the edge of the road and looked down.
“I'm coming for you Michael where ever you are”
I took a deep breath and turned back to the truck, a few more hours and we would be in Los Santos and the hunt could begin.

“Oooo this looks like the place Trev"
Wade sounded like some little kid going to the park.
“You sure this is it"
I said, pulling my truck into some alcove under a bunch of flats.
Wade jumped out and darted up the stairs, calling me to hurry up.
He had gone from worried to excited in a matter of minutes.
I smiled and then joined him outside his cousins door. Wade knocked and waited,
“Who is it?”
Someone asked from the other side of the door.
“Its me Floyd"
“Who?”
“Wade"
I was getting fed up of waiting, seemed the whole family was a sandwich short of a picnic.
As the door finally swung open, I let Wade walk in and was about to follow when I heard,
“You cant be here man – Deborah says I ain’t allowed no guests. And, and this is her place so ya know"
That was it, I barged in just as Floyd was about to shut the door.
“Is that any way to treat family? He’s come all this way to see you and you wanna be an ungrateful bastard?”
Floyd stood there shocked, his mouth flapping open and closed.
My fist clenched as I watched him.
“It ain’t that – I just don’t wanna upset Deborah, she’s all I’ve got and she ain’t here and and”
He trailed off.
“Well if she ain’t here she ain’t gonna know Floydy ma boy"
With that I strolled into the living room and put my feet on the table, kicking a load of magazines to the floor.
Wade had followed me, leaning against the counter.
“You gonna offer ya guests a drink?”
I watched Floyd enter the kitchen and then return.
“We ain’t got no beer, Deborah don’t like it"
He stuttered.
“Fuck Deborah and go and get some. We got alot of catching up to do and a whole lotta meth to get through"
I could see that Floyd wanted to protest but he didn’t. Instead he left the flat. Just me and Wade.

He returned hours later and by then me and Wade were high. I saw someone walk in and instantly thought it was Michael. I felt myself staring as Floyd got closer. That’s when the mask slipped and I saw it was actually Floyd.
I felt my anger rise, so I stood up and walked into a bedroom – claiming it as mine.
Falling onto the bed I let the haze take over.
