Vincent was a normal human, walking in Hope's Corner, a local coffee shop, where he was, well, a regular. He suddenly stopped.

"who's there?!" He knew from past experience that someone or something was there,

"W-what?! You can see me?" The strange luminous boy stuttered, helplessly flailing his arms around,

"Uh... yeah," Vincent said as if it was obvious, "of course I can."

"B-but I'm a ghost?" The boy croaked, suffering from not speaking in so long,

"But they don't exist..." He retorted, confused about if he was in a dream or not,

"Do I look normal to you?" he screeched,

"Yes. Why wouldn't you look normal?" He asked,

"I'm lucid! A-almost transparent!" The boy reasoned,

"You are most definitely not see-through..." Vincent stated,

"Well, I can't argue..." The boy sighed, defeated, "My name is Clay, some call me Dream, referring, I enter people's dreams."

"You sure are a delusional dude..." Vincent mumbled

Clay shook his head, "I am definitely not delusional. I could prove it to you if you would like me to..." He then mumbled the next part, "then you'll be the delusional one..."

"Alright, I bet you 14 dollars you're just imitating one" Vincent scoffed

Clay walked straight into him, passing through the boy's body

"What- I- Huh?!" Vincent stood, dazed, "Follow me" He then proceeds to run into the coffee shop, with Clay tailing behind.

Vincent opened the door rather dramatically with a few people staring at him. He panted a bit and went up to the counter and asked for Zak.

"Zak!" He Shouted,

"Oh hey, Vince..?" He asked in a questioning tone,

"You see him right?" Vincent asked, poking the boy for emphasis, and then added. "The boy standing next to me with blonde hair and a weird mask??"

"Erm, no, are you crazy or something?" Zak answered, judging Vincent's sanity,

"W-what?! But he's right here" He flapped his arms, but to his dismay, Zak couldn't see the boy

"Nah dude, you sure you don't need a psychiatrist?" Zak joked,

"Wh- Bu- Ok, just forget it. Can I get a Double Chocolate Mocha with strawberry jam and extra whipped cream, 2 pumps of creamer?"

"Alright damn extra, you tryna' make this job harder?", Zak cried, obliging,

"It's my job to make your job harder idiot." Vincent huffed.

"That's kinda douchey 'Vincent'" Clay had guessed from Vincent's nickname, Vince,

"I don't particularly care Clay!" Vincent growled.

Zak just stared at Vincent starting to think he was actually loco.

"Don't look at me like that! He is actually standing here. I do not care one bit, just give me my coffee." Vincent said, annoyed.

"Uh... No, he's not..." Zak Muttered, "But ok..."

Zak lugged himself next to the counter and gathered the materials to this man's coffee.

"So anyway, then I started blasting-" Clay smirked

"Oh my gosh stop it with that!" Vincent whispered, whacking Clay's head. Vincent genuinely looked dumb doing so.

"Ow!" Clay whined," Meanie!"

Vincent huffed, and Clay sulked.

"Number 26, coffee's ready!" Zak shouted,

"Thanks, Zak" Vincent grabbed the coffee and paid for it,

After, Vincent went to a small table for 2, expecting Clay to sit. Clay only stared at the being.

"What?" Vincent asked,

"You DUMB BIACH, I CAN'T SIT ON THAT, I'LL FALL THROUGH!!" Clay screeched,

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

"HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW!?" Vincent screeched back.

Everyone in the shop just stared at him. Vincent didn't care and continued on with his fit, "AND WHO THE FUCK SAID I WANTED YOU TO SIT THERE!"

"NOBODY! BUT WHATEVER!" Clay screeched

Before anything could get out of hand, the manager of the shop came over to Vincent to escort him out.

"Fuck..."

"Sorry..."

"Y'know what, just... " Vincent stopped his sentence and walked away.

"Alright..."
