(flashback)
It was less than a second, maybe half a second, but it changed everything. I heard beeping sounds around me. I felt like I was asleep, but awake as well. I pulled myself out of the weird state and opened my eyes.
"Girl I'm out of my coma" I said.
I looked around and saw that I was in some janky hospital. No one was with me. I looked for the nurse's button and I pressed it. In just a matter of a few seconds, two nurses came running in. I asked them why I was there and what was going on and one replied, "You crashed a clown car and you went into a coma." Then it hit me. I remembered it all. My life changed in a split second. I was on a date with the cutest clown, and ended up in a hospital, recovering from a coma.
They contacted my parents, but before they showed up, Pennywise did. He walked through the door and looked so upset.
"Girl I'm going back into my coma," I said as I laid back down.
"I thought you died," he said.
"Nah. You know me, I'm too much of a baddie to die," I replied.
"Is that why you stole my car? Because you're a baddie?" he asked.
"No, I stole your car because you broke my heart luv!" I answered.
"Oh, you've been in the coma for three months, and I've been dating Mary ever since," he said.
"What, are y'all like engaged?" I asked. Of course I still had feelings for him, I just needed to know if it was serious.
"Actually, we are" he said. "Don't worry about the car, its already taken care of. Goodbye, Jaxon."
He walked out of the door the same way he came in: sad. I was so upset, I felt like flinging myself to the nearest object and crying to "All By Myself." That was the last day I've seen him since the wedding.
