We used this thing called floo network to get to 'Diagon alley'. We went to a place called the leaky cauldron. I started getting nervous as there were many people in there. Mr. Snape stayed close to me and I stayed close to him. Later on, becoming scared of all the people, I grabbed Mr. Snape's finger which was the only thing I could reach except his robes. He then reached down and picked me up. There were so many people! At last went inside a shop. It had all sorts of clothes with moving pictures, moving letters and all sorts of things. Mr. Snape picked out a few T-Shirts with little balls moving around. I believe it was called quidditch balls, or something like that. Mr. Snape also picked out some tight jeans and some simple nighty onesies. Then we paid and left the shop. After walking for a while we enter another shop. Inside it was very lively. We bought what looked like a small wand and a few supplies to make a little room for Ace. Later on, we went to grab an Ice-Cream, where Mr. Snape asked me what I'd call him. I guess he didn't like it when I call him Mr. Snape. He made an excuse saying that 'since I was gonna live with him for some time I had to call him something'. I didn't think much of it and told him I'd like to call him Dad, Daddy or Father. Honestly, he looked stunned and his jaw dropped open, but he quickly recovered and put a grin on his face. " that's great! I'm glad you decided that way! and tell you what! we can go shopping for an awesome birthday gift for you!" My new Dad replied, far happier than I ever saw him!

Later that day, after having some ice cream and a good chat, Dad took me to all sorts of places like potion shops, book shops, ingredients shops and at last, we came to a toy shop. Without a second thought, Dad entered. As we got in, I saw loads of toys, playmats, soft toys, and blankets and all sorts of things. Dad took me to the blankets section first, put me down on my feet and asked me to pick some blankets that I liked. I took three of my favorites but there were two more I liked, but I felt as I already took too much and was asking for too many things. I looked back to see Dad watching. It was clear he did not feel the same and that he took notice of my emotions. "You know you can take a few more, right? In fact, take as many as you like." He said kindly, sitting on his heel to be the same level as me. I handed him the three blankets I was holding and said "but Dad! I can't reach the only other two I liked!" I complained. He chuckled as he picked me up and sat me on his shoulder, making me giggle. "you could have asked me. I'm here to help you" he said as I grabbed for two blankets with gradient shades. One with green shades and the other red shades. Then, with me still, on his shoulder, he moved on to the toy section. My attention immediately turned to a model of the Hogwarts Express and Hogwarts itself complete with Hogsmeade and a huge forest. Dad noticed me looking at it, so he took me to it. I was admiring it when I noticed the price tag. I might be a three-year-old but I know my numbers. The set cost 5,000 galleons! I shook my head in dismay. My dad asked "what is it kiddo? I thought you liked the set?" "I did, but it's too expensive!" I replied, a little sad. "but do you want it?" Dad asked and I nodded slightly in reply, still feeling blue. "Then we'll take it!" Dad exclaimed. I really didn't know what to say. After that, I brightened up a bit. Still, all the way through the toys section Dad kept asking me if I wanted this or that, pointing it out to me. I refused to allow Dad to buy me too much. At last, we reached the stuffed toy section. I chose a dragon, a turtle, a kitten, a snake and my favorite of all, a magic dragon with a stone in its chest that makes it talk and fly! They didn't cost much and the shopkeeper said that if the magic dragon really felt loved then it would reveal its secrets! I loved him so much that I didn't even let Dad carry him in the huge bag full of shopping. After buying him Dad let me cuddle him. By the time we finished shopping, it was lunchtime. So we went into a small restaurant called 'poition electro' and Dad ordered something called a 'cross cracker'. "you know since your three now, maybe we could try some big kid food. What do you think?" Dad said. I looked at him and hesitantly agreed. "I think I'll try the flying fish and some bread to dip in it with, and Dad maybe some apple juice would too," I said making a few quick choices. Dad nodded with a slight smile on his face and gave our order to the waiter who was assigned to our table. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. After eating, I told the waiter to give our compliments and Dad paid for the food. I grabbed my magic dragon and Dad scooped me up and took the shopping bags. "Dad, give me some of those bags. I'll carry them." I said. I knew Dad was having trouble with the bags because there were so many of them. "oh alright! Here you take these." He said handing me my blanket bag and clothes bag. With that, we went straight to Dad's Chamber in Hogwarts. I'm not sure how we got there but I didn't care! It was the best birthday I ever had!

In the evening, I was exploring Dad's Quarter when I ran into a blonde boy who, very rudely, said "Move out of the way you stupid brat! I'm walking here! Now get out of the way before I kick you out!!!" I got scared at him yelling at me, so I screamed and started to cry as he grabbed me by the backside of the collar on my shirt and lifted me up to his eye level. He growled at me and said "shut up you stup..." he was interrupted by Dad, who had come to the sound of me crying, saying "oh, I would put him down if I were you, Mr. Linton. You are to keep your hands to yourself and your tongue should be controlled." His cold voice making me shiver. The Blonde boy dropped me with a scowl. I landed with a thud and that made me cry even more as I curled up, into a small ball, on the ground. "Detention at 9 pm tomorrow night. Meet me at the gate of my chambers and don't be late. 100 points from Slytherin for harassing a child. Specifically, my child!" Dad said, as he picked me up and gave me a cuddle. I snuck a look at the boy and he looked both, angry and surprised. "You are dismissed, Mr. Linton." I heard dad say as he started to walk back towards my room. I could hear the blonde boy storm away as I cuddled closer to dad.

By now it was nightfall and Dad and I was playing with the stuffed toys we bought that day. Dad's favorite was the snake. I decided to name My magic dragon Slate and when I decided this and told My magic dragon he began to nod! I was so excited that I grabbed him and gave him a big hug and that was when he talked to me! "Slate is a cool name but I don't like it," Magic dragon said and my face dropped sadly. "I love it!" He shouted making me jump up and down with a big grin on my face! I was so happy that I told Slate that I would take him everywhere and he smiled. He started to spin out of my hands raised up high then with one flap of his wing and poof! He disappeared! Dad came running in, took one look up at the ceiling and said "WOW!" I followed his gaze and I saw Slate, who no longer looked like a stuffed dragon! I heard Ace 'meow' in awe as Slate lightly flapped his wings, and slowly came down and landed in my hands. I brought him closer to me and he stretched his little neck and I gave him a hug. He played his head on my shoulder and after a while, we broke the hug. "You must promise to take good care of me. This means that you must feed me, bath me give me a place to sleep and make me feel at home, play with me and all that you do with an actual pet and even you must protect and love me. In return, I shall protect you and will always be there for you." Slate ended his little speech of instructions and I had tears in my eyes. I looked behind me to see that Dad was no longer at the door. I hugged Slate once more and gently put him down on the rooftop hangout Dad and I made for Ace. When we went to Diagon Alley, I asked Dad if we could buy some stuff to make a small corner home for Ace. Dad bought loads of stuff for this and we built a corner home complete with a large terrace and fluffy little pillows. Ace officially has his own corner of my room. His space takes 1/3rd of the room and as I said earlier, has a terrace with a hammock and bellow it a bedroom with pillows, food, and water bowls and play area. It seemed that Slate and Ace got along very well. Soon the two of them were hanging out and playing together. When it was supper, Slate informed me that the two of them talked and decided that Ace would sleep in the lower room and he would sleep on the terrace hammock. After supper, I cuddled with Slate as Dad tucked me into bed. He said we were going to visit someone tomorrow and I can't wait!
