I walked really slowly to Orion's room hoping either that he had forgotten all about earlier or that Seth was there so it wouldn't be so awkward. Unfortunately for me neither were true. The door to his office was open and as if he sensed me he looked up as soon as I got close.

"Lumi come in." He was giving me one of those really sympathetic small smiles.

I didn't say anything and looked anywhere but his eyes when I sat uncomfortably on one of the chairs in front of his desk. Maybe me leaving the door open would prevent him from mentioning anything about my heartbreak. Orion sighed before getting out of his chair and packing up his stuff.

"Hello my two cherries!" Seth called dramatically as he came through the door hanging on the side of the door frame.

"Are we ready to go?" Seth smiled.

I try smiling back and nodded. He gave me an even more confused and concerned look than he did earlier but I just went past him. Seth followed after walking next to Orion.

"What happened?" I could hear Seth ask Orion.

He didn't reply so I can only assume he shrugged his shoulders or something.

Even though it was my turn to get into the front seat I just got into back. I tried acting like I wasn't bothered but I guess it was pretty clear I was. Seth took the passenger seat and Orion of course got into his drivers seat, taking a peek at me in the rear view mirror but I ignored him.

Seth broke the silence that had taken over the car journey back by asking, "what were you doing in Mr Kings room at lunch?"

Embarrassed that Seth had revealed that it was me in the room I couldn't help but look at Orion. He didn't look impressed. He looked disappointed and kinda mad. As if he knew I was staring he looked in the mirror at me and I quickly looked away.

"We were just hanging out. He is quite nice, you know, you might like him."

Seth looked at Orion clearly concerned over something before responding.

"He seems alright."

I couldn't get out quick enough when the car pulled up at my house. I pulled my bag over my shoulder and had the seat belt unclip before the car had stopped. When I got out I gave a quick wave over my shoulder not even looking while speed walking to my house.

Once in my room I just started crying. Uncontrollable ugly crying. Time passed and I just couldn't stop and I used pillow to help stop the sound annoying my family or letting them know I was crying. It was late when I finally stopped and fell asleep still in my uniform. But it didn't matter. Not right now.

Thursday

When they picked me up in the morning I slid into the back with a small good morning to them. Orion sort of grumbled a good morning back while Seth, either unaware of the mood or trying to cheer the two of us up, took over the whole car ride with his endless chattering. He barely got any replies from me and still managed a whole hours conversation with us. It helped. His enthusiasm kinda rubbed off on me and made me feel a little better but anytime my eyes would wonder to Orion my mood would instantly drop. The feelings of embarrassment and heartbreak would crept back over making it feel impossible to not curl up into a ball and hide. Again when the car stopped at school I basically ran away.

My first few classes had Tulip in them and much like Seth, she did most of the talking. That's how it usually was with her anyways so it didn't bother either of us. The class right before break was wood work with Seth. Towards the end of class Seth quietly came over to our desk where we were working on some sheet work and gently lifted up my bandaged hand.
