In the previous chapter, Chat hears a strange, tick tick sound...
Now, in the current chapter, He continues to hold Marinette in his arms as he runs to the basement door. He is not sure how, but is jammed.
He kicks the door open and runs outside. He does not stop until he as far away from the house as possible.
Meanwhile, with Luka and Rena Rogue, "Ready to go?" Luka asks.
"Sure, you do not have to ask me twice," Rena Rogue says. She begins to run with Luka not far behind her.
Suddenly, a huge blast is heard, Boom! Rena Rogue screams, "Ah!" She is thrown into the air as a result of the blast.
"Ah!" Luka screams before he falls.
Chat Noir gets Marinette home safely and gently sets her down on her balcony. He whinces in pain as he hurt his ankle earlier when he rescued her.
"Chat, you are hurt! Let me help you," Marinette says. She looks around to see what she can find to assist him.
"Princess, I am glad you are safe now," Chat Noir tells her, then he steps closer and kisses her.
"Ch-Chat, you k-kissed me," Marinette mutters. She smiles at him.
Chat starts to leave, but Marinette grabs his tail. She helps him clean his ankle, then, gently wraps an bandage around it.
"There now, it is good as new, just be careful walking on it," Marinette says. She hands him some ibprofen to take for the pain along with a glass of water.
Chat drinks some water, and takes the pain medicine. "Thanks, princess! Bye, see you later, Mari!" Chat says. He goes back home.
After he left, Tikki teases her, "Wow, Marinette I did not know Chat likes you."
"Awe, he kissed me!" Marinette says. She stands beside her bed in amazement. She thinks, after the crazy day she just had that Chat must felt sorry for her that is all.
"Haha, yes, he sure did, Marinette!" Tikki says. She giggles when she sees the blush on Marinette's face.
Marinette sleeps well that night.
