Every since my mom died, things just haven't been the same. I don't eat the same, I don't walk the same, I don't talk the same . And most importantly I don't act the same. But how am I supposed to be? The woman who birthed me is dead and gone .
No, this isn't one of those changes where I lock my self in the closet and don't eat. It's one where I'm always outside and always eating. My mother's death did hit home but I don't wanna be sad and miserable.
I'm staying with cousin Kingston and auntie Melinda. Aunt Melinda is cool but Kingston acts like he's my father. Always telling me what to do or wear. Like damn, can I live?
Right now this boy that goes to my school was texting me like crazy. He is so fine. All the girls in our grade wanna get with him. Kinda weird it should be the other way around. Where all the boys wanted the girls.
He was telling me how he thought I was the prettiest out of all of them. I never really threw myself at him like the other girls.

Me: Lol what type of pic?
Isaiah: One just for me .
Me: Uhh ohkay.
I got up as I went to stand in front of my dresser . I had on a tank top and shorts , I posed in the mirror as I snapped the picture . I sighed as I stared at the picture for what seemed like an hour . I was thinking about sending a nude but I thought against it . I sent him the picture while sitting at the egde of my bed . I heard my door open as I looked to see who it was .
I rolled my eyes as Kingston welcomed himself inside my room .
" What you in here doin' ?"
" Minding my business , why ? "
" Aye whats with this attitude ?"
" What attitude ? " I rolled my eyes as I played around on my phone .
" This attitude , you need to fix it cuss its not cute . "
" Whatever . "
" I'm bout to leave tho , don't have nobody in this house or do nun you ain't supposed to . " he spoke as he eyed me .
He must be stupid leaving me out of all people in this house alone . " Ohkay. " I smiled .
" Justice I ain' playing ."
" Yeah yeah . I heard you . "
" Ight . " he said leaving my room .
As soon as my door closed I texted my friend Alicia telling her to come over . Who was I hurting by inviting her over ? She showed up about 30 minutes later ringing the bell .
" Heyyy . " I say swinging the door open .
" Hey Justice . " she says walking inside and taking off her coat .
We walked upstairs to my room and sat down on the bed as I texted away on my phone .
" Who are you texting ? "
" Isaiah ." I smiled .
" Oooh Isaiah ? "
" Yeah . " I giggled .
" Uh he's a thot . "
" No he's not , ju' mad ?"
She rolled her eyes as I laughed . " How bout' you tell him to come over ?" She suggests .
I smiled as I texted Isaiah . Him coming over would be the way to finally make him mine . Not to be thirsty or anything . I just wanted a reason to make the other girls mad . He texted me back saying he would be over shortly .
