All was quiet at the Keller house for it was around midnight.
Zoe had just gotten home from closing her diner she owned called Zoe's Diner. Ciara-Jo, better known as CJ, was asleep since she wanted to get a good night's sleep before her first day of her sophomore year of high school. And she was going to get that until the annoying sound of the ringtone of her phone woke her up from her beauty sleep.
She groaned and rolled over on her left side and looked at her alarm clock that rested on her bedside table. She sighed whenever she saw it was only midnight and she knew there was only one person that would call her at this hour.
CJ reached forward and picked up her phone seeing that it was Stiles. " Of course it's Stiles." she mumbled under her breath but she pressed answer and brought her phone up to her ear.
" What do you want?" she asked rather harshly.
" Well, hello to you too. Why so grumpy, Cia?" Stiles asked and in her opinion, he sounded too optimistic for how late it was.
" I'm grumpy because you had to wake me up from my beauty sleep. Just tell me what you want so I can go back to sleep." CJ said as she sat up in her bed.
Stiles laughed nervously on the other side of the phone. " What? What would make you think I would want something? Can't people just call one of their best friends whenever they want?"
CJ rolled her eyes as she leaned her back against the headboard of her bed. " Yes, people can, but you? You only call me or Scott when you want something."
Stiles gasped dramatically. " That is," he dramatically paused before continuing. " so true. Just - if you want to have one more adventure before our sophomore year with your two best friends then meet me and Scotty at the Beacon Hills Preserve. I'll text you when we're there."
CJ let out a long dramatic sigh before she grumbled, " Fine." she pulled her warm covers off of her as she got out of bed.
" Seriously? You're going?" Stiles asked in disbelief. " Great! We'll meet you there!" he exclaimed.
" Yeah, yeah. Whatever." CJ then hung up the phone as she walked over to her closet.
She puts on one of Stiles' sweatshirts that she borrowed one time and forgot to give back to him and put on some grey sweatpants since she was wearing black shorts. She then puts on her sneakers, grabs her phone and the keys to her truck before she walks out of her room.
CJ walks past her Aunt and Uncle's room as quietly as she could since she didn't want to wake Zoe up. Once hurried her pace once she got to the stairs and quietly walked out of the house, closing the door behind her.
As CJ started driving to the Beacon Hills Preserve Stiles texted her that he and Scott were already there. " The things I do for them." she sighed and parked her red truck next to Stiles' blue colored Jeep.
