"Please stop yelling at me" Karma said, putting her head in her hands. Slim was jumping down her throat about the plan she had.

"Then tell us what the fuck your plan is" Slim yelled jumping to his feet "We all waiting for you to tell us, and you holding that shit like its a government secret"

"Aye forreal? Kill all that noise " Kacy said "Stop cussin at her and be patient like everybody else"

Slim laughed "You stickin up for this hoe now? Our lives on the line and you stickin up for her?"

"Who the fuck you calling a hoe?" Karma asked calmly, standing to her feet. Kacy grabbed her hand and pulled her back down.

"Fuck this man. Y'all could sit here and wait on her spoiled ass, or do like me and leave"

"Slim relax" Kat said shaking her head "We suppose to stay together. Karmas just trying to make sure everything is right before telling us the plan"

"You wouldn't want her telling us the wrong shit now"Morgan added "Just sit down and chill"

Instead of doing that, Slim stormed out of the house and slammed the door.

"Don't worry about him Karma. " Dion said "Just give him some time"

She nodded and sighed "Well anyway, the plan was to basically have a map of his trap or whatever you call it, and hit each room one by one. Then get Smokey" she shrugged "But I need a map of the place"

"Ain't no map but we all been in there before. We know the place like the back of our hand" Kacy said. Dion got up and went to get a piece of paper and something to write with. He passed it to Kacy and everyone gathered around him to add in what room they knew.

Almost 30 minutes later, the map was done. Karma grabbed her red marker and she started telling everyone what to do.

"Ok, well since Dion and Kacy are what y'all call 'shooters', then they'll be the ones to lead the way. Once y'all inside, Kat and Ash will be in the back. Y'all would make sure nobody pop up behind but also clear out the rooms as y'all pass them. Slim would be in the middle, shooting whoever come out the rooms Kat and Ash haven't got to yet"

"Why the formation though?" Kat asked.

"It'll help y'all have a better view somewhat and not have to worry about watching your back, and your sides. Two in the front worry about clearing out the path. One in the middle getting people who jump out the rooms and two in the back clearing out the rooms completely and making sure nobody sneak up behind" Karma explained.

"But there's room on both sides of the hallway. How Slim gon be able to watch both sides?" Ash asked.

"I put him in the middle cause I thought he could handle it"

"What about if you help him? You be in the middle too" Morgan said "Then we'd have a better chance of killing Smokey before he kill us"

"Oh um. No thank you" Karma shook her head "Killing people isn't my thing"

"Come on K. We need ya help ma" Kacy said.

Karma sighed and ran her fingers through her hair "I'll think about it. But honestly, I'd feel safer if someone else was beside me other than Slim. I don't think we're on the best terms right now"

"Iight, then switch Slim and me" Dion said.

Karma laid asleep in the guest bedroom. It was 9am and has been two weeks since she explained to everyone the plan.

No ones seen Slim but since he's had a history of running off for awhile, nobody thought anything of it.

Kacy quietly pushed the room door opened and set the breakfast he made on the dresser. He looked over Karma and smiled.

Her hair was wild and all over the place. Her lips were slightly parted and she looked angelic.

"Karma, wake up" Kacy said shaking her a little. Her leaned over and kissed her forehead as her eyes opened slowly "Happy birthday baby" he smiled.

"Thank you" she smiled. Kacy watched as she stretched then sat up and ran her fingers through her hair. He put the breakfast on her lap "Aw Kacy"

"Yea I know" he sat in front of Karma and started feeding her "After you done eatin, get dressed"

"Where we going?"

"You're goin to get pampered today while I go out and handle shit"

Karma looked at him "But I wanted to spend today with you" she said softly.

Kacy smiled "You will. Just later, now get dressed" He grabbed the plate and walked out the room, letting Karma get ready.

She stood to her feet and walked to her bags. Pulling out a tank top, pink sweat pants and sandals, she took a shower then lotioned her body and got dressed.

When she walked downstairs, Kacy was gone but he left his black card by a note he wrote.

Go ahead and get your hair and nails done. Buy some clothes or whatever you need then meet me over at 110 and sample at 7.

Karma walked out of the mall and to her car. Her hair was flat ironed and blow dried to make it full and thick. Her nails were painted a cocaine white to match her toes.

She had a lot of bags hanging off her arms from different stores. She bought everything from blouses to jeans and shoes.

It was just going on 5 in the afternoon so Karma drove back to Kacy's house to change into something nicer.

"Hello?" She answered her phone. It was her dad.

"Happy birthday baby girl" he said into the phone "I can't talk long but stop by my house tomorrow. I have a gift for you"

"Ok daddy, see you then" Karma pulled out of the driveway and drove to meet Kacy. When she pulled up, its was a building. It was plain too. Just a huge white building.

She hesitated to walk in the building but when she did, it was dark "Oh hell no" she mumbled turning to walk back out. The lights came on and everyone yelled suprise.

She couldn't help but smile as she looked around the room. Everyone was there, including her mom, Joe and her dad.

"Daddy" Karma yelled jumping into his arms "I can't believe you're here" she laughed.

"You know I couldn't miss your 19th birthday"

Karma let go "Well I guess I can get my gift now huh?" She giggled and watched as her dad opened the bag that was in his hand.

Her dad pulled out a black velvet box and opened it. It was a diamond encrusted bracelet that said Happy 19th birthday baby girl. Love dad.

"Thank you daddy" she hugged him after he out it on.

"Go ahead and party. I gotta get going but we need to have lunch soon" he walked off and left the building. Karma walked around and greeted everyone then made her way to the back of the club.

"Happy birthday Karma" Kat yelled over the music. She hugged her tight, then passed her a bag "Open it later" she smiled.

Karma sat down and everyone started walking over to her saying happy birthday and giving her gifts. Instead of looking at them, she put them in her purse and waited.

"Where's Kacy?" She asked Dion.

He shrugged "He should've been here by now. But give him time and if he don't show, I'll call for you"
