Jihoon felt his heart drop a little at the sight of Seokmin. He knew he shouldn't have even allowed Soonyoung to get close to him but some part of him had a yearning. A yearning for Soonyoung to remember him. But yet it was a painful past that even he regretted.

The firm grip of Seokmin's hands on his shoulder jolted Jihoon out of his thoughts. "You really should know your limit huh."

Limit? Jihoon had already hit his limit. How much more did he have to resist telling Soonyoung everything? The pain was stabbing him from inside, but of course, the pain that Soonyoung had gone through because of him made Jihoon's pain incomparable.

Not knowing what overcame him, Jihoon calmly said, "There should be a limit as to how much you should hide too Seokmin." His words spat out like poison which caused Seokmin to tremble slightly. But before Seokmin could retort, Jihoon had already stormed away, regretting much of what he said. Soonyoung on the other hand was still stunned at what Jihoon said. What more could Seokmin be hiding? His past? How he ended up in this state? Was everything a lie?

As Soonyoung started to get lost in his trail of thoughts, Seokmin had already dashed to his car, giving chase to Jihoon. 'Humiliated' couldn't even describe how Seokmin felt towards the situation. His cover was blown and in a moment of rage, he just couldn't think straight. All he could think of was to get back at Jihoon for the damage he had done.

Meanwhile, Jihoon started his car and drove off, more upset than mad. Right. He didn't even have the right to be mad considering that he had put Soonyoung in his current situation. But it was so upsetting that he wasn't given a chance to amend his mistake. The whole situation - Soonyoung's feelings, their past together - all shoved aside because of Seokmin. Jihoon was starting to think if it really was helping Soonyoung. Soonyoung had seemed so lost, like a wandering soul searching for itself. Just as Jihoon mind wandered off, Jihoon took a left turn, stepping on the brakes immediatedly when he saw the traffic light turn red. Phew that was a close call.

Jihoon almost forgot how to breathe for a second as he leaned into the steering wheel, hugging it tightly. He almost lost the chance to ask Soonyoung for forgiveness. Jihoon let out a huge sigh before looking up at the beaming red light that had turned green. Just as he was about to step onto the accelerator, the car from behind slammed into the rear of Jihoon's car, sending it flying a few metres before skidding to a stop.

A/n: I don't know if I'm forgetful or I procrastinate too much or if it's just both🤔
