Chapter 21 |He's Awake|

SAMUEL'S P.O.V

"Alec's awake."

Lucas's eyes grew as he ran past Donovan, pushing him out of the way. Ethan and Caleb smiled as they followed.

"He's awake?!" Adrian said in a happy yet at the same time disbelief tone. Donovan nodded as he made room for Adrian to see Alec. "Yup. Took a lot of magic." Donovan said, showing his hand that was extremely red from magical pressure. "But he's awake."

Everyone runs to the Medical Room. Lucas is hugging Alec extremely tight. 

"Holy crap.. you're ok.. you're ok...." he whispered to either himself of Alec. Alec chuckled. "Yes I am. Can you let go before I pass out?" Lucas loosened his grip as he walked back, chuckling sheepishly.

"Alec..." I say. Alec turns around and looks at me. "You're ok!" I shout as I run up to hug him. He laughs as he hugs me back.

"A-Alec..." Adrian said in a small voice. Alec let go of me and turned to see Adrian. "What is he doing here?" Alec growled. Adrian walked up to Alec cautiously. Alec grabbed me and put me to the other side of him. "What are you doing here?" He repeats. "I'm switching sides..." Adrian said joyfully, hoping Alec would be happy aswell. Alec eyed him suspiciously, holding onto me for dear life.

"He's not lying." Donovan appeared next to Adrian, putting a hand on his shoulders. Alec looked down, still not believing him.

Donovan sighed as he shook his head. "Adrian is staying with us. And since he doesn't have a room yet, he'll share with Samuel." Alec looked up at Donovan. "You're kidding.. right?" He said in disbelief. Donovan shook his head. "He's not bad. He really hates Nevaeh too." Donovan assured him. "Hate is such a strong word.. can we use a nicer word?" Aria asked him politely. 

Donovan sighed with a smile on his face. "Fine." He said as he left the room. Lucas stopped him. "Don't... I'll share a room with Adrian. Since he's my brother after all." He said the word brother like it was poision in his mouth. Adrian's eyes lit up. "Seriously?!" He exclaimed. Lucas rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Yes.." he mumbled while crossing his arms. Donovan smiled at them before walking out the room with Lucas and Adrian.

"I'm so glad you're ok." I told Alec as I hugged him again. "How are you feeling?" Lloyd asked. "Good for someone who got stabbed." Alec said sarcastically.

Lloyd rolls his eyes jokingly as he leaves to help Donovan prepare the room.

"Are you ok though?" Alec asks me. I turn around, confused. "What do you mean?" "Like, you didn't get hurt, did you?" "No!" Alec sighs of relief. "Good."

I'm not sure if I'm ready to tell him about my other friends coming here... 

"I'll let you rest." I said as I got up from the bed. He nods. I closed the Medical Room door softly before walking to my room.

I hear my phone ding a few times so I decide to check it. 

Charlie: We have a new flight now. It's not directly to Tokyo but it will get there. We are on Flight 3452
