Seraphs pov
I woke up on a hard concrete floor feeling dazed as my vision starts to come back to me.
I couldn't remember shit...
Get up! My wolf says in a panicked state.
What the hell happened?! I ask her as soon as I escaped my daze.
Then it all came back to me..
The beta..
The needle in my arm...
"SHIT!!" I immediately sit up on the hard ground.
We need to get out of here, I agree with my wolf and we try to get up
After a few tries we finally stand up
I touch the the silver bars and wince
"Wouldn't do that I were you" a deep voice says from my left
I turn and meet the eyes of the beta
"They're covered in Wolfsbane"
"I noticed" I said coldly
"So, what were you doing on our land?"
"I'm sure your alpha would like to be present for questioning" I replied already wanting to get out of here
He shuts up after that
About half an hour later he turns to me and says "the Alpha's coming"
My stomach turns to knots and my wolf is suddenly on alert
I smell the most heavenly smell ever..
I see a shadow walk down the stairs and he steps into the light
I can sense the power rolling off of him in waves but I ignore it
He growls
"What are you doing here?" He growls at me
"Well I don't really have a choice do I? I am being held captive so.."
I smirk as I can see him getting annoyed
He looks up and looks me dead in the eye
My heart stops
Darius' pov
I was getting worked up over some silly girl, I thought as my fists started to clench at my sides
I look up into her eyes and my heart stopped
She had these beautiful eyes like to ocean
"Mate" I said without thinking
Her eyes widened in shock as she looked back at my eyes
I heard her whisper "mate" too but only faintly
