Fionna and Cake meet Fin and Jake- Adventure Time Fan Fiction

Chapter 2- Machine mishaps-2

"Fionna..." I derailed not knowing how to break the news to her.

" Common P.G you know you can tell me any thing" she said giving me a reassuring smile. Well I was going to have to tell her sooner or later so why not sooner.

" The thing is... it's not gonna work"

Fionna

"WHAT?!" Cake and I chorused in disbelief.

"IT'S NOT GONNA WORK OK?!" He yelled obviously frustrated as he walked to a chair and sulked.

"Gumball" I said as I walked over to him and crouched beside him "It's gonna be alright, you can tell us what happened " He looked down at me, sighed then began.

"Well I was working on the teleporter and I was almost finished all that was left was the smallest and most important piece. As I was about to fit the piece into the machine, you guys barged in, broke my concentration now the piece is missing and the machine may not work without it "He said looking disappointed.

"It's gonna be ok Gumball everything is gonna work out I promise, besides your like one of the smartest people in Aah so I'm sure you'll figure something out. " I said as I tried to comfort him.

"Besides, who's to say it didn't fall in?" Cake said coming closer and putting her paw on his shoulder.

"Huh?" He said looking confused

"What do you mean 'fall in'?" I asked voicing both our thoughts.

"Alls I'm sayin' is, he said he was hella close to fitting in the last piece." She explained

"So...?" Gumball and I urged her to continue.

"So... Since it's so tiny and you can't find it, the only way we'll know if it's there is if it works." She concluded as Gumball looked deep in thought.

"My glob you're right!" He exclaimed, smiling like a goblin with a lot of gold.

"Cake you're a genius" I shouted and hugged her.

"Ha ha! Yeah, you know it" she replied.

"Fionna, Cake, I need you to gather all the people on this list and tell them to meet me in the royal gardens" he ordered as he gave us a list and a bag of invitations.

"Aye ye PG" I said with a mock salute after I took the list and bag then ran out of the lab with Cake.

"I really hope you're right cake, there's no telling what catastrophe could happen if you're wrong."

"I hope so too Fionna" she replied.

I jumped on her as she began to make her self big and her legs so long we we're above the cotton candy clouds.

We started to invite every one on the list. We invited Lumpy Space Prince, Flame Prince, Ice Queen, Lord Monochromicorn and Cinnamon Bunnita.

"Cake"

"Yea hun"

"Got any more invi's?"

"Nah girl, we gave the last one ta CB"

"Hmmm"

"What's going on in that pretty lil' mind o' yours Fionna?"

"Oh, just wondering why Marshall didn't get one I guess" I sighed

"Oh, well, we could go see him, if it'll make you feel better" she said looking at me

"Thanks Cake" I smiled back at her.

"Any time Fi"

Narrator

As Fionna and Cake approached Marshall Lee's house, Cake began to shrink back to her normal size and Fionna gracefully got off her back and they ran to the door and knocked. They got no response and decided to peek into the house only to see no one.

If they had turned around, they would have seen the demonic face with fangs and long oval green eyes filled with blood lust that creeped up behind them. Suddenly it grabbed their shoulders and Fionna turned around screaming and so did Cake after as their screams died down, they heard a familiar laugh and they opened their eyes only to see an amused Marshall Lee floating and laughing very hard at their reaction.

"Marshall, what's wrong with you" Fionna said as she punched him in the arm lightly.

"Y-you should have seen your faces" he said between laughs. "You scream like girls".

"We are girls dofus" Fionna replied as Marshall sighed and wiped a tear from his eyes.

"So what do you guys want?" He asked as he put his hand behind his head and crossed his legs like he was on a chair in mid air.

"Well we wanted to tell you that PG's showing his new thingy tomorrow just so you know." Cake stated

"He wants me there?" Marshall asked in disbelief.

"Well now that I think about it... your name wasn't really on the list and there wasn't an invitation for you" Fionna said innocently

"Ohh" Marshall said disappointed but quickly masked it, "whatever, it's not like I would have made it anyways."He shrugged.

"Oh ok. Bye Marshall" Fionna yelled as she left. Cake began to grow big and she jumped on her back and they both knew what their next destination was. Home.
