Ch. Three

Chapter Three:
Accident

"Wh-What happened?" I asked before loosing my strength and falling to the ground.

"Katya!" Jax picked me up and held me close to his chest, he then laid me down on the bed and sat beside me.

"What happened?" I asked licking my lips, "There was an accident... he's in Jefferson hospital" he spoke softly and carefully.

"Jax we need to go! Right now! Oh my god—" I began to panic but Jax grabbed a hold of my face and looked deeply into my hazel eyes.

"Breathe Kat, breathe" he whispered making me shake my head softly, I began to control my breathing slowly. Jax pulled away and helped me stand up, "Get dressed, and I'll take you to the hospital" he said and I quickly began to move to my drawers which Martha neatly organized.

I grabbed black sweatpants and a black long sleeve shirt, my slippers following along as I grabbed my phone.

"Achilles!" The pup cried and jumped up, I caught him mid jump and gave him a smooch on the head, handing him over to Martha.

"Take care of him, also please get some rest Martha" I said pulling her in for a quick hug then said goodbye as I walked towards Jax's Lamborghini.

"Of course you have a lambo" I groaned rolling my eyes making him laugh, "Get in Wifey" he patted the passenger seat, moving his hand as I sat down.

"I know we just met, but if I break down crying or something happens to me when I see him; you should know I am allergic to any type of berry. Don't know why you would need that type of information but it can be valuable" I said as he sped down the road.

"Good to know" he chuckled as he sped up to 100 mph.

"Jax!!" I shrieked making him laugh, "You don't like the adrenaline?" he asked glancing at me quickly.

"Not when my life depends on it" I said making him laugh out loud, "It's not funny!" I whined then stepped out of the car as he parked in front of the hospital entrance.

"Let's go!" I called to him as he paid for valet parking then followed behind me.

"Right behind you" he said and followed closely behind, I walked up to the desk and hurriedly asked the receptionist where my father was.

"Room 115, Mrs. Drakos" she smiled sweetly staring at my fiancé, I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hand since we were in public.

"Jealousy doesn't suit you darling" Jax chuckled making me slap his chest, "If you want this to work, I need to play the part honey and I am not a jealous person unless that man actually belongs to me" I said and let go of his hand, "I mean, technically I belong to you, so" He said raising his hands up making me snort.

"No honey, I mean actually belong; that means that I love you and only you, and no other female can take what's mine. Get it?" I said sternly shocking him as his eyes widened.

"Wow. I could literally make love to you right now" he said making me laugh, I stopped when I made it to my dad's room door.

"Are you okay?" Jax asked me making me release a shaky breath, I shook my head turning around to face him.

"I-Can you come inside with me?" I asked shakily, and Jax didn't hesitate to nod and grab a hold of my hand.

"Fake fiancé or not, I got you" he mumbled softly making me smile.
