'Come back here Hollis!' Yelled a tall red head sprinting down the north corridor, swiping at her hair to keep it from falling over her face.

'You'll have to catch me first!' A small,
honey-coloured haired girl playfully responded back.

One of the only possible sources for this breakout of chase was a purple sweatshirt clasped in the arms of the smaller girl, the sleeves of it flailing as she dodged other students.

With her long legs and athletic background, the red head could have easily outrun this tiny figure, whose cheeks now flared bright pink as she paused for breaths between looking behind her. But where's the fun when you win all the time?

'Laura give it back!' The taller girl shouted as she nearly crashed into a nearby theatre student, 'As much as I like the exercise, I don't want to be chasing you down the corridor all day.'

As she turned another corner into a crowd of music students to aimlessly chase down her friend, she realised that Laura had completely disappeared and had been eaten by the crowd. Trying to be as polite and apologetic as she could, the red head pushed through the crowd to reach the other side. Before she could go any further, she felt a painful thud as she collided shoulders with someone coming the opposite direction.

'Watch where you're going big red,' a low female voice angrily retaliated.

The tall girl looked down to see a girl with raven coloured hair and a fringe carelessly falling over her heavy eyeliner. She wore a punk rock T-shirt of a band she didn't recognise and in her arms draped with chained bracelets, she carried three philosophy textbooks.

'Sorry I-

The girl's expression changed from an aggravated glare to a more calm but untrusting smile.

'Haven't seen you round here before, she spoke, 'You new?'

'No I'm a third year, Danny Lawrence captain of The Summer Society, you may of heard of our-

'Just kidding I don't care,' the mysterious girl's face changed back to a snarky expression and she briskly turned on her heel and carried down the corridor.

'Hey wait!' Danny called after her.

The girl reluctantly turned her head around and slowed down her pace.

'What?' She demanded.

'You haven't by any chance seen my friend come this way?' 'Small, holding a purple sweatshirt, heading for the science labs?'

'Cutie with the honey hair and the green backpack?' 'Might've seen her, depends- I could tell you which way she went but then again, how could you trust information from a girl like me?'

Danny was beginning to become impatient with this girl's irritating personality.

'Just tell me which way she went and I'll leave you and to write your gothic poetry in peace.'

'You should learn to hold your tongue ginger snap, has your mother never told you that it's rude to assume things about strangers-

Danny couldn't stand to listen to another word form this ignorant individual and darted back down the corridor in the hopes of retracing her friend's footsteps.

Because the science labs were blocking off all exits of the perimeter, Laura couldn't have gone far. With her bright green backpack she insisted on carrying everywhere, she wouldn't be hard to spot.

Trying to make as little noise as possible, Danny peaked into all the classrooms making sure to close the door behind her to avoid disturbing anyone. As captain of The Summer Society Danny had to keep her reputation up. She didn't want to risk losing her captaincy to Melanippe Callis, another aspiring Summer. It was a close call last time after the jellyfish and mayonnaise incident.
