Hope and Landon - Epic love

Chapter 4 - Landon's secret

We eat our breakfast and I say "hey um..Landon I kind of over heard you talking to someone on the phone who was that?" "Um it was one of my old friends they wanted something but I said no and now they won't leave me alone" he says "ok I was just curious that's all" I say.

Later in the day it's about 9:30 am and Landon is in the shower and he left his phone on the counter in the bathroom then there is a ring and I check to see who it is and it say KM and I'm wondering of who that could be and I answer and I hear a voice that I haven't heard in a long time my dad's voice "Landon Kirby I didn't think you would answer I want to see my daughter ok I found a way to get the darkness out of me and when I do that I want to see my daughter please let me see her" he says "Landon are you still there?" And I hang up the phone and I put it back on the counter and I'm freaking out I don't know what to think why would Landon hide this from me maybe he thinks that even though I thought he was dead I wouldn't believe him.

I was sitting on the bed still trying to wrap my head around all of this. Landon walks in "hey what's up?" He says "hey um...I answered your phone why you where in the shower" I say "oh yeah who was it?" He says "it was my......dad".
