"Mingzhu, wake up you're going to be late for Kun's coronation." I wake with a jolt as the maid came in holding a red and black ruqun lined with gold. "You forgot didn't you? Prince Kun is being crowned emperor today."

"And so he is."  I said walking over as she took off my sleeping gown and started helping me into the ruqun.

"You know his brother likes you right?" She said while she leads me to a chair and picks up a comb and starts brushing through my long black hair.

"Xiaojun? Maybe, but he probably has to marry a princess from a different kingdom that he doesn't even know." I reply.

"He may not, he could marry you instead." She said while inserting a jade pin with a white blossom into my hair. A gift from Xiaojun.

"Wouldn't that be something? A prince marrying an adviser raised by a concubine, who isn't even my real mother." She started applying light makeup and adorning my neck with my black yin necklace. The one thing I had from the past I don't remember.

We leave my rooms and start towards the front of the palace where the thrones of the royal family were. I took my seat next to Xiaojun.

"Hi Mingzhu." He gave me a warm smile which I found adorable. No, you can't think like this he's a prince and you're just an adviser.

I smiled back. "Good morning, Prince Xiaojun." I said while slightly bowing my head. His smile dropped. I didn't like the fact that he stopped smiling but those were the rules.

"I told you, you can drop the formalities MingMing."

"But that's how I'm supposed to address you, you're a prince of the empire."

"Then I use my power as prince to take away the formalities." We both smiled at his joke, but turned and faced forward as we heard the coronation start.

                                                   Some time later

I was looking out at the crowd reading their faces as Kun was made the new emperor, they looked happy their emperor had treated them well and they have watched Kun grow up and have grown to love the entire royal family. They knew that Kun was going to be one of the best emperors yet. I was looking around and I caught the eye of one of the guards looking at me. He had a puzzled look on his face like he wasn't sure if I was real or not. He looked familiar somehow...Then I looked down and he was wearing a white yang necklace that looked like the matching piece to mine over his soldier uniform, but how would he have it? I don't even know him. I leaned over to Xiaojun.

"Do you know that guards name?" I moved my head in his direction.

"I think they call him WinWin? Why?" He looked at me with a confused face.

"He looks familiar somehow, even though I've never met him."

"Maybe he's you're soulmate or something." He said as he shrugged his shoulders. I looked away from the person by the name of WinWin. I looked forward trying to ignore the pair of eyes burning holes into the side of my face.
