A few hours go by before hearing some sounds coming from the cave. From the sound of it, she's trying to destroy the pillar. She's not too happy about being trapped. I didn't know this at the time, but my summons used the Arachne's own webbed walls against her.

From the rim, it sounds like a battle is ringing out down below, praying my guess was right in how long the summon pillar would last. Coming from behind me, the sound of feet making their way towards me. In my mind was praying its who I think it is.

Perched on the creature's shoulder is a raven; it looks to be my reinforcements. In most cases, a usual kind of golem wouldn't help much this is a particular case, and I'm not a normal golemancer.

Not being dumb, I had the golem get right to work, I had them plant themselves next to the forest.

Thinking back, having a plant-based golem-like other golemancer's was a good idea. Directing it to grow thick vines that went to the lip of the sinkhole down the side.

It could, it created trees in the cliff face to anchor itself. The vines kept going down my golem was told to avoid the water as I had a hunch it was saltwater. It had vines snake over to where the cave entrance is.

With every second passing, the vines become more substantial and thicker. The vines intertwined to form a ladder and even a platform above the water. I was using the Jungle itself to grow my golem bigger and more durable.

Climbing down, I really got the scope of how massive this sinkhole really is. From above the rim, you really can't see it. Getting down to the cave entrance, the pillar I used had taken a beating, yet the creature behind the beating was missing.

Acting quickly, I had the plant golem reinforce the pillar and gave instructions when the summons poofed to replace them with a new pillar made of Ironwood. To always be on guard and to regenerate as soon as the damage happens.

The Ironwood should do the trick in keeping her in. It takes diamond-studded blades to cut it, usually with going through a lot of blades. With that done as a side note, my plant golem was to form canopies over the ladder and walkway.

As the last thing, I told it to also spread out as much as it liked. To create a large area to receive light to create food to then give back extra food it creates to the forest. With my golems orders in place, it seemed like it was time to take a load off; the spot I chose was up against the pillar, not thinking anything.

Unknown to me, I was being watched from within with my back to the cave; she made her move. I didn't notice anything but the smell of salt, not noticing anything approaching me at all, but when she tore a chunk of my black trench coat, I know something was up.

I got lucky is all that happened; it was an old coat, thank the heavens it tore instead of her pulling me in tearing my flesh. Not really caring for an old coat that cannot get repaired anytime soon; it looked like I would need to get a new coat later down the line.

Not really giving a crap, tossing her the spoils of her little attack, letting her win by giving her a trophy for this was a war, not something won with just a battle.

Apparently, when she tore my coat, she was very frustrated in more ways than one. It was her night to grab a mating partner, and this man trapped me in my burrow. She thought at least she would have a consolation prize of the man who trapped her.

But she won a small victory because she tore his coat and got a trophy out of it. She was pissed; she didn't plan a burrow with multiple entrances for the substance she used to reinforce the walls of her burrow were too durable for her to dig through.
