Forgotten

I wake up and find myself in the forest by our house, confused I get up and start heading to the house. I hear something rustling in the woods behind me so I start going faster.

I look behind me and I don't see anything so I calm down and look forward. Right then I get pushed to the ground and Cody is standing in front of me looking how he did after my parents invaded his house and killded his parents and took Liz, blood and brusies covering his face and arms, his clothes ripped and covered in dirt. His white hair was stained red with blood, he reached down and grabbed me while yelling, "Where is Elizabeth!?!"

I tried to get away from him but his grip was to too strong. His face was inches away from mine as he asked again, "Where is Liz?!"

"I don't know, I dont know!"

He let go and punched me in the face leaving me to tumble down a hill, getting scratches along the way.

I see the house as I get up in a hurry as I hear Cody coming after me. I run in the house and slam the door shut locking it. I let out a sigh of relief as I start walking towards my room. I open my doorand cody is right there dripping blood.
He grabbs my shirt staining it red and whispers inches away from my face, "I'm coming for you."

I jult awake sweat dripping from my face. I look around the room and slow my breathing as I realise that it was just a dream. I get up and get my uniform from my closet and start getting dressed.

I hear a knock at the door and I jump, startled. I walk over to the door and kyle is standing at the door, and without looking up from his phone he says, "Liz is ready to go, she is just waiting in the living room for when your done."

He walks off and I grab my bag and head out. Liz is just sitting on the couch playing with her hands, she looks up smiles when she sees me.
"Come on liz lets go" I say waving my hand towards the door.

She follows me out and gets in the front passenger seat and gets her buckle on. I can't stand her, our life was fine until she came here. I sped up to the school grabbing my stuff, I shut my door and rushed over to my class.
I can hear liz off in the distance trying to catch up, I looked back to her and she was running to me. Hurring I turn the corner and enter my class and sit down in the back.

After half an hour I look around and realize that Liz never caught up with me. I sighed while getting up to go find her, "If Josh finds out I lost her he will kill me" I mumble to myself as I leave my class with my bag in hand.

I've been looking for her for a while now, people start leaving classes and I realize that my class is also over. I see Josh coming towards me and he looks around me and looks at me with the look of rage entering his face.

"Eric, where is Liz?"

I look around and see that we're next to the bathrooms so I look at him and say, "She's using the bathroom"

"Good, if you lose her your dead"

"I know, I know" I say as Josh walks off to his next class.

I punch the wall frustrated that Liz is lost. Just then I hear a small voice behind me, "Why are you punching the wall? You are going to hurt your hand."

I turn around and Liz is standing there looking puzzled. I grab her hand without saying anything and go over to my next class.

Throughout the rest of the day Liz is quiet and listening to all of my teachers, never saying a word. During lunch time I drove over to to get some soba noodles. Neither of us said anything during the meal or in the car ride back to school.
In my next class she just laid on the floor and went to sleep. She was still asleep when the class ended so I picked her up and carried her to my car and drove home.
