Remus left his cubs in the library to calm down and sort themselves out. Although he supposed he couldn't call them his cubs anymore, could he? Moony growled in his head. Still his cubs. No matter what they were. His cubs were entrusted to him by the rest of his pack. Let the Drakens try and part him from them.

He shook off the invading thoughts with a smile. He had a fire call to make. He just hoped she would call the council for him. If he tried, it might start a riot. That would not help his cubs.

Taking a deep breath he tossed the floo powder into the grate and called out the desired household.

"Molly," he called out. "Are you there? I need a favor."

"Hello, Remus." Molly answered the floo warmly "How are Harry and Hermoine? I forbade the twins from bothering them today. So you should be safe enough. What can I do for you?"

"I need you to contact some old friends."

"Old friends?"

"Yes, friends of Gideon and Fabian. You remember I learned a lot from them and how to recognize certain things because of how we reacted to each other?"

The warmth drained out of her face as she gave him a cold look of suspicion and she gave him a flat yes.

"I need you to reach out to someone. I have two of their..." Remus paused. This was not a conversation to have on an open floo connection. Drakens were illegal in Wizarding Britain even more so than werewolves. Drakens had an execute on sight order. He needed to choose his words carefully so Molly would understand but everyone else would not. Then he struck upon the exact word. Hermoine's slip this morning giving him the needed inspiration. "kin that have come into an early inheritance."

Molly frowned at Remus for a moment before it dawned on her what he was saying and the blood drained from her face. "Are you sure, Remus?"

"Yes, the boy inherited rubies," Remus said offering Harry's scale color. That should comfort Molly as his new inheritance would make Harry harder to kill. She would also know he was a dominant.

"And did the girl inherit?" she asked sharply as soon as she noticed that Remus hadn't offered that information. Molly knew they were now magical twins, which meant they shared bloodlines. If one inherited, so did the other.

"Her inheritance had no color," Remus looked straight into Molly's eyes as he answered. Molly's jaw dropped and then a look of fierce determination came over her. She herself was not a Draken, but her family had maintained may of their ways and her lost brothers had been Drakens. Fierce protectiveness over her chicks was one of the Draken traits Molly Prewett Weasley was known for. She had counted Harry and Hermoine as her own for many years now. She knew it was a confusing time for young Drakens, she had gone through it with her brothers after all.

"I'll floo as soon as you get out of my way." Never let it be said Molly Weasly was anything less than a force of nature, Draken inheritance or no.

Harry and Hermoine had calmed down enough that when they came down the stairs an hour or so after Remus called Molly they were wearing clothes and skin instead of pajamas and scales. Hermione was clinging to the slim volume she had dismissed before and was obviously anxious to read it through in-depth.

"Did you reach who you wanted, sir?" Hermoine asked anxiously. She wanted answers and, as much as she would never admit it out loud, some answers could not be found in books. She was going to have to get answers from the council.

"Yes, after I explained what I wanted and why, she shooed me out of her floo," Remus chuckled.

"Is she a Draken?" Harry questioned.
