"Will you be home soon, Mollywobbles?" Arthur asked gently, seeing the stress and exhaustion on her face. The first of April was always tough on Molly. On the one hand, it was the anniversary of her brothers' death; on the other, it was her Fred and George's birthday.
"Tomorrow or the next day. They haven't come back yet. I expect to have to answer questions tonight as well."
"It's good for them you're there. Alright, I'll see you tomorrow, love," Arthur nodded and closed the floo connection.
Molly sat back and sighed deeply. It had been a rough couple of days. Not because of Harry and Hermione, but because of the memories. Fabian and Gideon had been dead 19 years and some days she still expected them to waltz in the door laughing and teasing her and each other as they had done when they were alive. The change had been hard on them. They had both had girlfriends they wanted to be more than just a Hogwarts girlfriend and they had each decided that it wasn't fair to the girls to be running off for submissive meetings.
At least her brothers had been prepared and knew even vaguely what to expect. Harry and Hermione hadn't the foggiest. She just hoped she wasn't missing something important. Or something else important. Polyamory hadn't even crossed her mind as odd. Although after Harry's parents it should have.
It had surprised more than one person in society that James and Lily had a monogamous marriage and hadn't settled into a triad with Sirius or Remus. It wasn't as common anymore but it was still somewhat expected in the old circles if you had a friendship that close and had power like theirs. It had never occurred to her to prepare Harry and Hermione. Most of the council members were powerful enough to be in triads and quads. To be fair though, generally, only the serving dominants went to council meetings. The Kozlovs must have been worried about Larisa traveling while in her sixth month for Aodhán to have come, too.
She sat there in the chair before the fire a moment more. Normally she was constantly moving. There were dishes and laundry. There were errands to run and the garden and orchard to attend. And now of course with all the children in Hogwarts, she and Arthur were more involved with the Order than they had been. So there was brushing up on her dueling and healing spells. She should probably teach Hermione a few of the healing and cleaning spells. They were particularly useful with large families.
Just then Dobby popped in with a cup of tea.
"Yous is working hard and is very sad today. If yous do not rest and drink your tea, Mr. Harry Potter sir and my missy Hermy will worry. So you wills be drinking you tea before they is coming back."
Molly smiled gratefully and sipped her tea. It really was a luxury to just sit and drink a cup of tea. Just one though, any more than that was ridiculous.
Dobby popped back in with a plate of biscuits, set them in the tabled as he eyed her to make sure she was complying with his commands. He nodded once in satisfaction and popped away again when he decided she was obeying.
"Bossy little thing," she smirked as she picked up a chocolate biscuit and began eating.

The submissives of the group had shooed the dominants out and cast about 50 silencing charms.
"Now we get to have all the awkward conversations you really don't want your brother to be a part of," Max said gleefully.
"So..you all have more than one mate?" Hermoine asked after the surprising revelation not more than 5 minutes earlier which had prompted the dismissal of the dominants. "But unless they are the appointed dominant they don't usually come to council meetings."
"Yes," Ngozi nodded. "I have two besides Kgosi. They are at home caring for our chicks."
"I have a grounding mate at home," Max said soberly. "I was happy with just Nīkau but he insisted and I'm glad he did."
