Hello!!! This is a notice to inform you that all the works before this chapter were written between 2014 and 2016 (yes, very, very old). This one and those beyond will be ones I wrote in 2018 all the way up to now (2020).
More info at the end of this!

The last time she had seen him, he was holding her hand and leading her through a crowded carnival. Their shoulders pressed against each other, but neither minded much. Their laughter was lost in the chatter around them, but somehow, they could feel each other's glee. It was a warm and bubbly feeling. Perhaps the cotton candy got to their heads because they ditched their friends and decided to take on that night themselves, determined to have fun while they could.
It had been months since then. Months.
She tried to distance herself from him. She could not bear to drag him into what she did; it was too dangerous for him. But, she never thought they would meet like this: him tied to a chair and her holding a gun to his head. Her line of work was rarely pretty. And neither was his, it seemed.
"I'll never do anything for you ever again," he said hollowly. He refused to even look at her. "If you pay me for my silence, I'll scream. If you beg me to speak, I'll sew my mouth shut."
Her grip on the pistol tightened. "Then, I have no use for you."
"I thought you were normal," he spat, meeting her eyes at last. "I never expected to see you down here. No wonder you hated being with me so much. I guess the guys here are more entertaining?"
It tore her heart to hear those words from him of all people. "Oh, you have no clue." She placed a finger on the trigger. "No clue at all."
His head snapped back. The dead weight lost to gravity and he tipped, taking the chair with him.
"I loved you," she said to his deaf ears. "There was never a moment that I wasn't happy with you."

oKAY, MAY, THAT WAS SAD.
Haha, hello, again! If the publish dates in this book were correct, it's been like four years since I wrote in here. Wow. That's,,,a long time, huh?
Basically, what happened is that I got really, really, really busy with school and I kind of (?) lost interest in writing for fun. I was still writing When the Clouds Fell (I've been writing that thing since 2016 lmao when will it end) but I wasn't doing much else. I ended up unpublishing this along with all my other works that weren't WCF or the WCF Extras Book because I wanted that to be my main focus. But, the problem that I mentioned earlier is that I stopped writing for the heck of it and started writing with a purpose. And when that purpose was not being fulfilled because of not finding time to even think about the story and its plot, I lost motivation, and subsequently got a huge iceberg of writer's block that loomed over my head for almost two years. To add to that, I barely have free time and I was filling it by watching kpop stuff instead of reading manga/books or watching anime, and, let's be real, crack videos and reality shows don't have fictional substance so obviously I wasn't getting any inspiration from them. And that resulted in me updating six times in 2018 and five times in 2019 (which is less than half of what I did in 2017 alone).
HOWEVER. At the middle-ish of 2019, I realized that writing is fun and I should do it because it's fun. Not because I have a story to finish. But because I'm a writer and I like writing. So, I started making little blurbs whenever I felt like it (which still wasn't often because I was sorta stunted by writer's block for a bit more). IT WAS FUN!! And, I've accumulated a couple, so I'm going to be putting them on here when I get the chance and you people can enjoy them as well! It's really not much, but I'm glad I was able to regain some enjoyment for this very precious hobby of mine.
(Okay, that was a whole-ass TEDtalk. Goodbye!)
~May out.
P.S: Going through this book has made me remember just how much teenage me loved to write out of sheer passion. And...it was very refreshing :)
P.P.S: I swear now lol
