chapter one / model student.
"AGUSTINE FIDDLETON TO HEADMASTERS OFFICE."
"Shit." August flicks his fag to the ground and stomps it out.
"What'd you do? Pissing headmaster off already seems a bit out of character for you." His bestfriend, Maddie, chuckles, "And you didn't need to stomp it out, you could've passed it to me. Dickhead."
"Yeah, whatever. I got to go. And he didn't sound mad, so shut it."
Wind flows right through his dark curls as he jogs through the quad and into the building, making his way to the office. The front desk is empty and headmasters door is cracked open so he takes it upon himself walk inside.
"Ah, Agustine. Have a seat."
"Headmaster, sir, before you say anything, I fully own up to my mistake and can assure you it will never happen again."
Michael's brows furrowed immediately as August begins to slightly ramble nonsense. Instead of interrupting he waits until the students talked a whole through the wall. August finally clears his throat, "Sorry, maybe you should just talk for now, Sir." He sucks up as much air as he can and holds his breathe, getting ready for a scolding.
"Mr.Fiddleton, your academic status here at Moordale are very much impressive aswell as your impeccable attendance record. Not one day missed, ever, since you've been enrolled into the system. Not to mention your clean record. A model student all around."
Augustine lets out a large sigh as he catches his breathe. "Why, thank you, Headmaster. Is that all?"
"Well Moordale is having a former student return next Monday and I would appreciate if you let them shadow you for a while. It would help keep them on the right track."
