One year later part 2

Momo POV
I walk the streets out on patrol with Todoroki. He's helping me rehearse what I want to say to Jirou tonight when I propose to her.
" you know she's going to love whatever you say right. Hell you could just throw the ring at her and she'd say yes" todo said after listening to my 10th run through of the night.

" I know but I want everything to be perfect" I say

" so you really made the ring yourself" he asks

" yeah I wanted it to be as beautiful and unique as she is" I respond
" she's gonna love it almost as much as she loves you" he says
I blush. This last year with Jiro really has been the best of my life. We graduated together, moved in together, and also worked together. We both managed to make it into the top 10 and are one of the most beloved couples in the hero world.
" I've been thinking about proposing to Midoriya" Todoroki says quietly.

" Todo that's amazing" I say

" I haven't figured how or when yet but once I do I want you to be my best woman" he says softly

I hug him and let out a happy squeal.
" I hope you know I want you to be my man of honor as well"

" I'd be glad to" he says with a smile.
" come on let's finish this up you have a future fiancé to get back to" he says with a smile.

The rest of our shift goes by quickly. Todo agrees to cover my paper work so I can change and go home. I walk through my front door to see Jiro waiting for me. She's standing there in a black 3 pice suit with a purple shirt and a balcony tie. She holding out a dozen roses for me. They're my favorite. I happily take the flowers and offer her a kiss.
I quickly get ready and dress in a simple dress that matches with Jiro We ate a dinner of all my favorite foods and have the same dessert we ate on our first date. Afterwards she leads me to the living room. She grabs her guitar and sings me a beautiful song all about wanting to marry me. She then gets down on one knee and makes one of the most beautiful proposals I have ever heard. I can't help but let out tears of joy. I sink down to the floor to sit with my beautiful girlfriend. I retrieve the ring I had made for her and show it to her.

" I had the same idea" I say softly.

"Kyoka, before I met you I never really stopped to have a good time. I was so focused on school that I never stoped to balance my life. Then I meet you and you were all I could think about. I found every excuse I could to be near you and I was so happy that you seemed to enjoy my company to. That night in that closet you made my dreams come true. I spent so many nights imagining what it would be like to hear you say those words and it was so much better than I had ever thought possible. I've loved every second of this past year I've spent with you and I can't wait to spend every second of the rest of our lives together. Of course I'll Mary you Kyoka"
at this point we're both crying tears of joy. She puts the ring she got me on my finger. It was a simple Diamond ring with a gold band. I then move to but the dark purple band I had made Kyoka on her finger. It had you and me inscribed on the inside.
" you and me" she says

" it was the first song you ever sang for me" I say.

" it's beautiful Momo. I love it" she says while admiring the ring.

" I love mine to" I say softly.

She pulls me in for a deep kiss. It's obvious our kisses are growing in passion with each one. We only break apart when there's a knock at the door. Jiro gets up to answer. It's Todoroki and Midoriya.

" we're not early are we?" He asks softly.

" just in time" I hear her say.

They both step through the door with a box in hand. I come and meet them in the kitchen.

" let's see the rings" he says excitedly

We both show off our rings.

" I can't wait to hear the story" he says still giddy with joy.

" let's wait for everyone else" Jiro says

"Everyone?" I ask

" I might have invited a few people to celebrate" she says blushing.
Soon everyone arrives. Denki, Bakugo, Kirishima, and Shoto are chatting in the living room. Deku, Iida, Uraraka, tsu, and hatsume were all chatting together. Jiro was chatting with Mina and hayakure at the table. leaving me and Todoroki sitting at the table.

" how long have you known Jiro was planning on proposing?" I ask

" two hours" he says " Midoriya told me tonight when we went to go pick up the cake and I told home that you were to"

I nod.

" hey let's hear the story" Mina says loudly.

All of our friends agree even Bakugo. So Jiro and I take turns telling our story. By the end Practically everyone is in tears. I even see Bakugo wipe his eyes as Kirishima pats his shoulder. We all drink and laugh late into the night celebrating with our friends. Kyoka keeps giving me heated looks and touches here and there that are starting to drive me crazy. I can't wait to get her alone tonight.
