"It was pretty decent of Hoseok to let us leave early, don't you think?"
Yoongi nods slightly, his shoulders hunched against the cold, and the toes of his shoes scuff against the ground as he walks slowly. He had surprised me, as we left Blue Sky, reaching out to slip his slim fingers into mine; it's become habit at this point, I suppose.
"What are your plans for tonight? I mean," I grin at the older boy, admiring the way his black hair shines in the golden glow of the streetlights. "We're out of work, like, five hours early!"
Yoongi nods. "Sleep."
I can't help laughing slightly. "No food? No TV?"
He shakes his head and my throat clenches nervously, but the words still escape my lips. "You want to come over? We could order takeout, just watch a movie or something."
Yoongi hesitates slightly, and I grin a bit, shrugging, releasing his fingers to balance on the curb as we walk. "If you'd rather sleep, I totally get it."
"No, I - uhm," a pink flush is creeping over Yoongi's cheeks, and he looks away. "I'd like to come over."
I grin at him, bouncing ahead, reaching back for his hand. "Awesome! We can order Chinese food, how does that sound? And - ooh, how about we stop at a bakery on the way? I know this great one right down the street, they have the best cinnamon-sugar loaves, we could grab one and share it as we watch the movie."
Yoongi's smiling slightly as I glance back at him, and he nods, his eyes meeting mine, gaze lingering as I smile back at him, squeezing his hand.
"Come on then, I live down this way."

"Oh my god, is this your boyfriend?"
I trip over my own feet, my hand wrenching its fingers from Yoongi's, and Yoongi flushes bright red, shaking his head. I turn to glare at Jamie, and she just giggles, shutting the front door behind us, her eyes bright as she appraises Yoongi. "He's so cute, Chim! I didn't even think you had the ability to land any guy, much less someone like him." She grins at me, her eyes mischevious, and I blink at her, still processing her words.
"I - " I cough slightly, and she just keeps grinning at me, and I know she's getting me back for when I harassed that guy she went on a date with. "This is Yoongi. We work together."
"Mhm. Aaand you go on dates, right?"
Yoongi's face is crimson, and he avoids looking at us, and I take the opportunity to gesture at Jamie, my face heating. "Just go away."
"You have food, feed me first?"
I roll my eyes, reaching into the takeout bag for Jamie's noodles and small bakery bag. "We're going to watch a movie in the living room, so - "
"I'll leave you alone so you can make out! I'm stealing your room for tonight." Jamie bounces down the hall and it takes a moment for me to register what she said, my face burning as I turn back to Yoongi, coughing slightly.
"Well, that was Jamie."
He nods slightly, his ears still red, and I silently curse her. "Anyway, uhm, living room's this way."
Yoongi follows me into the living room silently, standing near the wall as I sit on the sofa, and after I pull the takeout containers from the bag I glance up at the older boy, patting the sofa next to me. "Come on, let's eat?"
He looks nervous, probably from the new situation and the crazy sister, and as he sits next to me I reach over to squeeze his hand slightly. "Hey, if you don't want to be here you don't have to be."
He flushes, glancing at me, and I give him a small smile. "But if you're staying, we're watching Five Feet Apart."
That gets me a smile, and I hand him a one of the takeout boxes and some chopsticks, opening the cinnamon bread for later as I start the movie, relaxing into the sofa as it begins. Yoongi's silent, his eyes on the screen as he eats slowly, and I watch him more than I watch the movie, the way he smiles unconciously as they flirt, the way his eyebrows crease in concentration as the plot thickens.
His eyes tear up slightly, at the ending, and he looks away from the screen, setting his takeout container on the coffee table, picking up a tiny bit of the sweet bread with his fingers. I turn away from the movie as the end credits begin to roll, and the room seems suddenly dark, small, and I didn't realize he'd shifted closer, or perhaps I'd gravitated toward him, but our legs are touching.
"What did you think of the movie?"
Yoongi turns to look at me, and his cheeks are flushed, his eyes bright despite the dark room. "The ending sucked."
I can't help laughing, nodding. "I know. I like movies like that, where they don't end up together, because sometimes stuff just doesn't work out like every classic romantic movie. The guy doesn't always get the girl, you know?" I shrug slightly, setting down my own takeout container, my eyes tracing Yoongi's features.
He nods slightly, contemplating my words, and my eyes fall on his lips as he looks away from me, his eyes on the credits still rolling, and there's a tiny bit of cinnamon sugar on his bottom lip from the sweet bread.
"I'd rather the guy always get the girl," Yoongi said softly, his voice gravelly as he turns to look at me. "That way, even if it's not real, someone's happy if you aren't."
I catch his gaze with mine, and we just look at each other for a moment, before I can't resist the urge anymore, reaching up to swipe my thumb over his bottom lip gently, and my hand lingers there as his breath hitches; I stare at him, trying to make out those dark eyes, and it's a long moment before I realize what I'm doing, pulling my hand away, my face heating.
"There was...on your lips, sugar..." I stumble through the words, and Yoongi's face turns pink as he looks away from me, clearing his throat slightly, reaching up to brush his thumb over his lower lip, the remaining sugar clinging to his skin, and I'm thankful that he got it or I would have had to keep resisting that urge to kiss him, to taste that sweetness on his lips.
Yoongi's rosy cheeks make me smile, and I open my mouth to speak when Jamie speaks up from the doorway; I startle, having not noticed her, and she raises an eyebrow at me. "You two are so grossly cute."
I cough, and Yoongi just blushes harder, his ears turning red, and he stands abruptly. "I'll...see you tomorrow, Jimin."
I nod, and he disappears down the front hallway, the door closing behind him only seconds later, and Jamie grins at me, leaning in the doorway as she raises her eyebrows.
"Yoongi, huh?"
I shoot her a glare, leaning back against the sofa, my mind unable to stop replaying Yoongi's blush as my thumb touched his soft lips.
"Come on, tell me more about him," Jamie pouts, leaning on the edge of the sofa, her eyes pleading. "You never tell me anything. He's so cute, why aren't you dating yet? He obviously likes you."
I smile a bit, turning to face her. "I'm just being careful, Jamie."
"So you are going to ask him out?"
I nod, a smile tugging at my lips, and my voice is soft. "Yeah. Definitely."
Jamie squeals, grinning at me, and I flush, my face hot.
"Stop talking about my love life. Go to bed already, it's late."
