Hannah really did experience one of the weirdest afternoons of her life, as finding the new kid bleeding out in the stream was something you didn't see everyday. Eddie and Stan rushed to his side, Eddie went to up pick him up but noticed the large amounts of blood pooling off the boy in question. Making him gag and pull out his inhaler. Hannah sighed seeing as she already wet her shoes in the sewer tunnel she ran over to help Stan hold the new kid and bring him to the bikes.
"What the fuck happened?" Hannah questions the smaller and round kid as his arms clutched onto her and Stan's arms as they helped him out of the running stream.
The new kid exhaled with pain running through his breath trying to remain calm in front of the people he has just met, but it wasn't working well at all. "I uh- Bowers happened" The new kid in a almost slight whisper finding the courage to speak up was too painful in the moment. Hannah looked at the small child and huffed out air with rage.
"That mother fucker Bowers, I swear the next time I see him I'm going to-"
"Han, just leave it alone, it's not worth it" Stan turned his head to meet the red headed girls eyes, seeing them burn with rage. Hannah hated letting Bowers get away with anything. The night after he had beat her up for coming out, she went up to him in school and pulled his pants down in the middle of class. To say they were even was a long shot, but it was a nice feeling having a class of prepubescent minds laugh at the school bully.
"Yeah, fine, Let's just get this kid some help" Hannah sighed with defeat, thinking she'll start her revenge plan later on at home. What would it be this time? Spray painting the Trans am or slashing the tires, either way, it cost lots of money to fix which is why Hannah loved it so much.
After mounting the new kid on Bill's bike the losers set off to find anything to help the kid, Eddie was saying that the pharmacy will have everything they needed, and everyone went along with it, as Eddie has made more trips there this year then the others combined. Riding with the barrens was actually quiet a calm experience, the breeze was a light cool wind as the sun seeped through the tops of the trees, if there wasn't a kid dying at this very second Hannah would be enjoying this little moment.
Eddie leading the way they quickly got out of the barrens and headed for the main road. But with Eddie came the fast an worrying amount of talking, Hannah was trying to learn to tune out the rambling but it always tried to make it's way in.
"I think it's great that we're helping the new kid, but we also need to think about our own safety. I mean, he's bleeding all over you guys know that there's an AIDS epidemic happening right now as we speak, right?" Eddie blabs on about almost nothing.
"Eddie shut the fuck up, you're scaring the kid" Hannah yells to the smallest child, Eddie huffs in anger but continues anyway, almost now wanting to annoy Hannah with his fast facts.
"My mom's friend in New York City got it"
"Your mom has friends that isn't food?" Hannah questions loudly with a smirk, Richie chuckles as he was riding right next to her.
"She got it by touching a dirty pole on the subway." Eddie continues annoying the last comment made by the girl. "And a drop of AIDS blood got into his system through a hangnail. A hangnail!" Eddie exclaims, Every now was biking past the boy, hoping maybe to leave him behind so they didn't have to listen to his rambling any longer, well, that's how Hannah was feeling anyways.
Eddie continued on for many minutes as they rounded the alleyway behind the pharmacy, ditching their bikes on the side, and Bill carefully helping the new kid ofd his bike and and sitting him on a box next to the wall.
"You guys know that alleyways are known for their dirty needles that carry AIDS right? You guys know that?" Eddie yells at the group almost trying to warn them, Hannah get fed up with the talking, she walks over to the child and places him in a headlock, in no way hurting him but wanting to get his attention. The boy started to pushes his hands against her waist, but she was too strong for the boy.
"Han what the fuck-"
"Listen here little Eds, I'm going to say this once, when I tell you to be quite, I mean it, okay darling?" Hannah looks down at the boy shoved between her arm and her breast. He nodded his head a few times as she smiled at him and kissed his forehead as she let him go.
"Problem sovled" Hannah cheerfully exclaimed as Eddie tried to rub his head of any traces of the girls spit, whispering some profanity's under his breath.
"Was that necessary Han?" Stan questions the girls methods. Richie steps forward with a shit eating grin on his face, smiling wide at what he had just witnessed.
"Of course it was necessary Stanley, little Edward here was about one straw anyway from me going one on one with him" Richie told the taller boy who was already majorly done with Richie and Hannah's shit.
"You, go one on one with Eddie, you two would hit each other at the same time and will be down, you two are actually pussies" Hannah laughed to herself imagining a world where Richie fucking Tozier was actually strong, it almost brings a tear to her eye.
"I'm strong, I could totally go one on one with Eddie"
"Richie, babe, please I have laughed enough already"
"What the hell Han, I'm strong too" Eddie tried to defend himself, Hannah just side eyed the boy and smiled.
"Want me to put you in another head lock, because I can and will if I need to" Eddie went wide eyed as he stepped back from the girl actually ready to defend himself from her.
"Alright, are you t-t-three done?" Bill asks the group as he had finished setting up Ben on the box.
"I could have something else to s-" Richie begins the talk but is cut off by Stan.
"They're done"
"Alright, Richie, wait here. Come on!" He yells to the other three as the four of them start to run down the alleyway.
i don't know why, but hannah holding eddie in a head lock to shut him up is the funniest thing ever. Ugh i love them.
also next chapter will be some good Han and Bev content ;)
