"Midoriya, it's your turn."
The said boy approached the circle with the ball in his hands. He was so deep in thought about how he should do it. All of the other students who haven't seen him use his quirk yet anticipated what he was going to do.
"I have to get an outstanding score for this exercise if I want to have a shot at staying here in UA." He mumbled to himself.
Everyone stood to watch. The green-haired boy hasn't shown any outstanding marks yet and many were curious as to what his quirk would be and what it does. They wanted to know his strength. Some wanted to know if he was just a small fry.
"Midoriya isn't doing well." A blonde sparkly boy remarked.
"Duh. He's a useless quirkless little runt." One of the students said with so much disdain.
"He's powerful!" "You didn't see it during the exam, so you wouldn't know." Two students protested.
"Huh?! What did you--"
"If he's quirkless as you say he is, how did he pass the exams then?" Fuyu cut the person off without even looking at him and just stared at the so-called quirkless boy. She was curious about the broccoli boy's quirk too. "Passing the written exam is not enough to get into the hero course. Someone that has no quirk or has a quirk that's not made for combat has a very slim to no chance of passing the mock battle exam. Luck will have to be on his side if he is quirkless, as you say he is since passed and became a student of the Hero course here in UA."
All the other students just nodded in agreement and turned to focus on the boy that is now wrapped in their teacher's bandages. The pissed young boy just growled to himself, a bit embarrassed to be called out like that and shut down easily. He could have retaliated, however, he will have to face the top 1 student. Aizawa exchanged some words with Midoriya and then the boy is now deep in thought again. Then in an instant, the boy's arm just glowed as he powered up.
'What?' Fuyu's eyes widened as she stared at the boy preparing to throw the ball. Looking closely at the boy's arm as he threw the small object, she saw him concentrating his power from his whole arm into his fingertip when it was the only point of contact he had left on the ball. He let out a battle cry as he threw the ball as hard as he could.
"705.3 meters," Aizawa said, looking at the screen.
"Sensei! I can still move!" Midoriya panted and held his hand.
'This kid...' Aizawa smirked to himself. 'Seems like he's showing promise.'
Everyone was then again speechless at the power displayed in front of them. Fuyu continued to observe Midoriya and saw his finger was damaged by his power. It was battered and bruised.
'He... can't control it?' As she continued to look at his busted finger, she concluded that his body was not completely ready for his quirk. It was as if he just manifested his quirk recently that's why he shows little mastery in using it. She was curious as to why he had this destructive power in him, plus the fact that a boy with anger management issues-judging from the gruff hatred-filled voice she heard- said he was quirkless.
"What the hell?! Explain yourself Deku!" Speaking of the ticking time bomb, he activated his quirk and dashed towards Midoriya in pure anger.
"Oh no, you don't." With just one stroke of her hand, the ash-blonde was rendered immobile. Her hair levitated again as she used her quirk. This time, her aura was a soft blue. "It's a waste of time picking a fight with people, blondie."
"Who are you calling blondie?!?!" He growled at her, this time he was more annoyed than earlier. He was a bit embarrassed to be shut down again that easily- especially by the one that defeated him in the spot of being top 1 during the entrance exams.
