"Seriously? An animal zoo?" I ask her incredulously.
"Why do you guys have to call it animal zoo? Of course, zoo consists of animals only." she replies in a 'duh' tone.

"Eliza?!" Antonia exclaims in surprise as soon as she opens the door.
"Hi." I grin at her.
She engulfs me in a tight hug and kisses my cheek before closing the front door behind us.
"How have you been? I've missed you child." she says after pulling away.
"Aw, me too. I am so sorry, school kept me busy but you guys are coming over next week, right? For the twin's birthday?" I ask for reassurance.
"Of course, we are." she replies.
"I wish I could say I am seeing my favorite girl because she misses us and not my son who's lying sick in his room." I hear Vince's voice from behind me.
I gasp and turn around to see him standing by the door, dressed in a grey suit and a black briefcase in his left hand.
"Hi, Vince." I greet in happiness as I embrace him.
"Ciao, figlia mia." he greets back with a loving kiss on the crown of my head.
"How have you been? You came early?" I ask pulling away.
"Been good and yeah I did come early today to see him." he answers nodding his head towards Nick's room upstairs.
"Oh." I nod my head.
"Let's have some fun, shall we?" Antonia says all of a sudden, making no sense at all.
"I don't know what you're talking about but I will go along because I love you." Vince replies.
"Aw." I gush with a pout at the end.
"You stay here." Antonia instructs before going upstairs with Vince following closely behind her.
Like the curious cat that I am, I follow but stay behind and stop right outside Nick's bedroom door. Antonia winks at me and gestures me to stay quiet as she and Vince goes inside the room.
"Hey honey, are you feeling any fresh after taking a bath?" she asks him.
"Yeah, mom. Hey, dad." he croaks out.
My heart aches in my chest as I hear his weak voice.
"Hey son, have you taken your medicine?" his dad asks.
"Mm hmm." he replies.
"Good. I'll send you soup in a while. Oh and by the way, Eliza came over some time ago but I sent her back since you were in shower and wasn't feeling great." Antonia tells him.
My eyes widen and I cover my mouth with my hand to stop the bubbling laugh.
"WHAT?!" he exclaims loudly and started coughing immediately after that.
I felt bad for him instantly. I just want to see him now. Right now.
"Mom, I wanted to see her. How could you do that to me? You know I'd never turn her down. I miss her, I would have felt better if I had seen her face." Nick grumbles.
