Max part 2

Max's POV

As Oakley was leaving I felt something in me stir. I have had a crush on her since we were in the sixth grade. I have never told her about my feelings in fear that it would ruin our friendship. I'm okay where I stand with her now because being best friends is better than nothing. Plus, sometimes I get to take naps with her when she's not feeling good which is great. I've thought about manning up and just telling her many times. Well I have something big planned for tomorrow. I'm gonna ask her out and tell her my feelings. I'm really nervous and not ready for tomorrow at all. We'll see how it goes. I text her goodnight, shower and go to sleep. I wake up at 6:30 and FaceTime Oak. She answers after I call her three times.

"What do you want? Why are you waking me?" She asks grumpily.

"Get dressed, we have an entire day planned." I say and smile at her.

"Okay." She says half asleep. 

"I'll be there at seven." I say and she hangs up. I go brush my teeth and I go and watch some T.V. until it's time for me to leave for her house. I start my car and I drive over to her house. I'm wearing a plain t-shirt and some grey sweatpants and Oakley comes out in a grey cropped sweater and some high waisted jeans. 

"Hey Max." She says getting into my car.

"Hey Oak." I smile over at her and start to drive to our first destination, coffee. We both order our drinks and make small talk while I drive us to her favorite restaurant. We pull into the Chinese place and she gets out of the car after I unbuckle. I'm so nervous.
