Chapter 1 - Super Human Highschool

Revy's POV

I walked through the chrome double doors of S.H.H.S, a bit weary on my first day. Now, everyone at the school attends due to their superhuman abilities. Mine, for example, is mind bending. I have the ability to make anyone (without a mental block of course) see, hear, feel, and even smell whatever I choose. Also, this comes with the ability to read minds and have pretty sick mental skills. Insane right?

I inherited the powers from my father, who inherited the powers from his father, who inherited those powers from his father, who inherited the powers from a freak brain surgery accident. A pretty long chain, which down the line, has been altered. My sister, Kat, has an altered version of these powers. Her ability heightens the six senses.

I honestly think most of the school is gonna think we're super nerds instead of super humans. But really, were pretty rad sisters. Me with my odd red hair, sarcastic attitude, and unique choice of clothes, and Kat with her white hair, "perky with me yet silent with others" attitude, and poppy clothing. We're almost complete opposites, but I'm so glad we're in the same grade. I hate being separated.

I continue down the halls next to my sister when I bump into a guy walking in the other direction.

Drew's POV

I'm so nervous as I walk through the double chrome doors into S.H.H.S or Super Human Highschool. I'm Drew Ridge and I am a superhuman. My powers consist of super speed and enhanced agility. You may think, Hmm.. must run in your family. But no, I got my superhuman abilities from an accident that's... too painful to talk about.

So as I walk down the halls looking at my schedule, I accidentally bump into to a girl and make her drop her books. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry," I say "It's fine," she says as she meets my gaze,"I'm Revy." I respond, "Drew...Drew Ridge."

After I help her pick up her books, I look for my dorm. Yes we have dorms at S.H.H.S. After 30 minutes of looking, I finally find it. As I look around, I find my stuff neatly stacked near my bed next to my new roommate who is "attempting" to play guitar. "Hey, my name is Jack and my ability is to see into the future!" He exclaims.

"Hey, I'm Drew and my ability is super speed, and enhanced agility," I told him. "Really? AWESOME! I've always wanted a friend with super speed," he smiled and responded. I've always wanted a friend... On that awkward note, I start to unpack my things.

After I unpack my stuff and set up my computer, I head down stairs to the lunchroom. I end up seeing that girl Revy again, somehow I feel like I know her....

Kat's POV

"Revy, do you know where we're going?" I asked jokingly, for I had heard the question asked many times in the hall. "Of course, if we can hack into the CIA as 7 year olds, I'm pretty sure we can navigate the halls." I laughed remembering the scene of CIA agents questioning our parents. And by this point in time you might be wondering, You guys are siblings right? But you're both freshmen? Well it's like this: Revy is a mere ten months older than me so we're about the same age.

"Hey, this is the room!" my sister said unlocking the door. "It better be worth it after all the trouble we went through to dorm together." I nod, we had to bend some rules to be together. And let's just say we don't do very well apart.

As the door opened I acknowledged that it was plain, nothing we couldn't fix and...

Drip... Drip...

"The faucet's leaking." I walked into the bathroom, the handles were set in their off position, "NO I HATE PLUMBING!"

Revy's POV

"NO I HATE PLUMBING!" Kat yelled and stomped her foot. I laughed, "This is supposed to be an elite school and they leave us with a leaky faucet." I turned to my sister, "Know any metal benders? Or...plumbing benders..?" She laughed, "No, but I know the schools maintenance phone number."

We had a plumber fixing our faucet in minutes. We decided to go to the lunchroom and eat some breakfast while our dorm was occupied. When we sat down with our breakfast, I noticed the Drew guy from earlier. I caught him looking over, I was about to wave for him to join us but Kat interrupted my notion. "Revy, you think there's such a thing as wafflekenesis?" She asked, taking a bite into her waffle.

I scoffed, "Maybe that person's mother has syrupkenesis." I poured syrup onto my waffle. We laughed and continued debating over this breakfastkenesis thing when a sweet looking girl walks up to our table. "Hey, I'm Emi, mind if I sit down?" She smiled and asks. We nod and I ask her, "So what's your power?" She giggles, "Oh, I'm able to slowly consume people's souls, I'm practicing to make the process faster and less painful. You guys wanna be my first test subjects?"

We slowly scoot to the other side of the table and release a sigh. "I have a feeling these four years are going to be quite interesting, and its not just my intuition," Kat said. I nodded and we got up to dispose of our breakfast.

Drew's POV

After I got my breakfast, two pancakes, bacon, eggs, and orange juice, I find and empty table and head over there.

I sit down and get ready to start eating when Jack jumps out of no where, causing me to throw my pancake in the air. Barely having time to react and catch it in my mouth.

After I finish breakfast, I look at my schedule and head over to Power Controlling 101, then I see Revy and her sister Kat in my class...Oh great...
