Drew's POV

"Liar," Kat said right in my face. I froze, it was stupid of me to lie to the two sisters who can sense basically everything. I sighed, "That was me, I wanted to keep it secret along with my past. It brings back too many memories."

The accident Revy was talking about, it happened when I was 10. My parents died in a car crash due to a drunk driver. I was sent to a foster home until I was 14, then a super human murdered my foster parents along with anyone I had close contact with.

After he killed off everyone close to me he kidnapped me and experimented on me. He tampered with my nervous system and caused the powers I have now. I don't remember his face or name, which makes it harder to avenge all my loved ones. A tragedy, really.

Kat's POV

I looked at Drew. He doesn't need to tell me. I'll find out. I can hear thoughts as well. I just have to try much harder than my sister. So I listened. Humans are curious beings, I know. It wasn't the saddest story I had experienced. I kept looking at him. "You are not the only one who has suffered," I said in a monotone way. The bell rang, giving me a headache. I walked over with Revy to our next class, gym. The one where I will likely fall behind.

You see, mentally I am very strong though physically... I'm not as prepared. Revy and I walked into the locker room filled with squealing girls, adding to my headache. The mixed scents of perfumes didn't help. Coughing, I changed into gym clothes and thew my normal outfit, a black sweater tucked into a flowery skirt, into my locker. I sat down on a bench waiting for Revy which I was soon pushed off of, but soon enough we were outside being told to walk in a circle, which really was a rectangle, around some cones.

Revy's POV

Kat and I linked arms as we walked around the courts, apparently waiting for everyone to get changed. It was incredibly loud outside, as well as in the lockers. I was about ready to jump the fence and bolt out of here. You see, I have slight anger issues. Mostly caused due to annoyance. I suppress them as well as I can, but they... surface once in a while.

Kat sensed my anger and gripped my arm tighter, "Remember what we learned in PC101? Mental block Revy." I sighed, that's right I'm supposed to practice a mental block. I envisioned a barrier around Kat and I, surprisingly it suppressed some of the noise. I smiled at Kat, "Thanks."

Once gym was over, I was dripping with sweat. The instructors had us run a mile the first day. Obviously the kids with the speed factor ran it in seconds, I on the other hand took 8 minutes. Kat took 10. We're not the best when it comes to physical stuff. I went to the lockers and changed back into my clothes, a white pullover with a pair of maroon skinny jeans and lace up black boots. I ran a hand through my hair and exited the stuffy locker room with Kat by my side.

When we walked out we saw those two guys who were whispering about us in PC101. Damn.

Kat's POV

I leaned against Revy using her to hold me up, I ran as fast as I could. I knocked two minutes off since my last mile, but you can see that I'm about to die now. I look at Revy as she changed directions suddenly. I stumbled linking my arms with hers so I don't get lost in the crowd. I was confused, fatigue messes with my powers because I breath through my mouth and can't hear as well over my heartbeat and being tired simply makes it harder to focus.

"What's wrong," I asked Revy. "It's those guys from Power Controlling." I looked at her, "I don't see a problem with that, they're no more than insolent fools." She shook her head as I unlinked our arms. That was a mistake for we soon got pushed away from eachother. "R-Revy?" I called into the crowd. "R-Revy!?" I called a bit louder. I was drowned out by all the other kids in the echoing gym. I looked in the crowd for my other half, the one that brings out my human side. Without her, I'm no more than a living, breathing computer.
