There's been an upset at the palace,

The first I've seen in years.

Harry's been a naughty boy

Or that's how it appears.

Things had been going ever so well

And the news was mainly good.

All seemed happy in London town

From what I understood.

However, I had noticed lately

Some changes in Ms Markle.

Her beautiful, smiling face

Seemed to lose its sparkle.

Hand holding seemed to be slightly less

At least when out in public

But care of babe takes much time.

Let's be realistic.

It has only been about three weeks

Since the word did pass around.

Rumors had begun to leak

That Harry might just leave town.

The Queen summoned him to a meeting.

Prince Phillip would not attend.

Giving up royal duties,

Actions he could not defend.

The crown's successors met without delay

To decide what happens next.

Will Harry lose his title,

No more Duke of Sussex?

Repaying reno costs on their digs

Seems a little harsh to me.

I find it quite surprising

How firm the Queen can be.

Prince Harry always was a rebel.

We can't just blame his Meghan.

With their move to Canada,

They'll become a royal legend.
