"Do you still need some help, Sonia?" youasked after you had digitizing all the new data on the archive tobrought it up to date. It seemed like Professor Magnolia hardly caredabout the archive.

"Oh, that's nice of you, but you did so muchwork since morning. Actually, you even did Hop's tasks." Soniasaid, looking up from her monitor. Hop looked up from his own tasks,feeding the Pokemon in the laboratory and doing reports on theirstats, and blinked.

"I have only two hands Sonia. Youshould also take care of general tasks sometimes. You are aprofessor, but that does not mean you can pass unconvienient tasks onus." the younger male chided her. Sonia only cleared her throatand sighed.

"You're right. Thanks for your help Y/n, but Ithink we are fine now." she waved you off. You smiled andglanced around the lab. Playful Yamper ran through the rooms, whileHop took care of the Wooloos and shearing them.

"Are you sure? You know I like to help. It's agood distraction though.." you mused. Hop blinked in worry andSonia cocked her head in confusion.

"Distracting from what? Did something happen?"she asked, getting up from her seat to walk closer to you. You shookyour head in order not to unnecessarily worry your friends.

"No, no. That sounded more serious than itshould. Haha. I'm sorry, It's just .." you began and played witha strand of your [h/c] hair in slight embarassment. Sonia raised aneyebrow at you before it made "click".

"Oh!Lovesickness, huh?" she asked.

"It's not lovesickness. He has not broken myheart at all." you mumbled.

"But my brother is the reason you want distractyourself, right?" Hop intervened. Almost everyone of yourfriends knew about your feelings for Leon. Well, everyone except theslightly inattentive Champion himself.

"I know he has a lot to do and many appointments.. But .. it's been so long since we've seen each other. He evenhardly answers to my textmessages because his phone is off a lot. ...God, I sound like we're a couple .. " you sighed and facepalmedwith both hands.

"Just tell him how you feel then? I'm prettysure Lee will gladly take time for you if you invite him. Just giveit a try." Hop spoke encouragingly. You looked up and saw yourtwo friends smiling.

"..This is not as easy as you think it is! Iwill not risk our friendship with an unmindful confession if he doesnot return my feelings. " you muttered.

"Y/n. Youare a smart person, unlike our inexperienced champion. " Soniabegan. "It is so obvious how much it sparks between you wheneveryou see each other. Everyone is aware of your mutual feelings. And Ithink you can see it aswell, but you're just telling yourselfotherwise because you fear a rejection that would not even come. "she said and crossed her arms.

"Can we please change the subject? ? Do youneed me anymore?" you sighed and hoped to get out of thisembarassing situation. At least it was embarassing for you. Soniasighed even more and shook her head slightly. Then she get back toher desk and took some books from her table.

"Actually yes.. I borrowed these books from Leonwhen he was at home a few weeks ago. These are about Dynamax and thephenomenon of wild Pokemon that dynamax without having a trainer. Ilearned plenty much thanks to them. So you could bring the books backif you want. "Sonia spoke and offered you the books. Hop threw akeychain to you a moment later.

"If mother is not at home, you can use the keyto get into our house." he told you. You smiled at them and bidthem goodbye to left the lab, on your way back to Postwick.
