The battle

Mk woke up to see the bed empty with Connor gone, she sat up and rubbed her eyes and looked around to see if she could find anything he might have left behind she saw nothing until a breeze went into the room and made a hidden note fly up, she catches it out of the air and reads it. "Ima be out in town for a bit I'll be back in a bit don't worry about me with a hair tapped to it, a color she hasn't seen before half white half red.

He went to town to go buy some things from the local shop while trying to retain his memories that he has recovered from his previous battle and some things before then when he is attacked by a monster.
POV connor

I just wanted to go buy some things and now there's a monster in my way *he sighs* naturally, but luckily for me I've half of my memories back for the time being. *he looks up and draws the sword he took from mk and slashes at the smallish to medium sized monster when the sword bounces off* huh? That's new guess there evolving, *he strikes again to no avail* it seems I'm out of options do anything, *he starts to conentrate when all of a sudden the ground shakes* h...huh? *he falls and he realizes that monster was just a distraction rarely seen by human kind*
*the ground under him shatters apart as a bigger monster comes out and throws him against the wall* ugh...my head you dam monster *he grits his teeth and a red darkness start to take his vision.

POV mk

I suddenly hear screams in the distance so I look out my window and see a fire in the center of town. "No....no...no that's where connor went, it's to far to get there by normal means...." *she rushes to grab her armor and quickly puts it on and activates it and using her speed enhanced boots she rushes over there to see connor fighting a creature with magic that had almost faded in this world, the creature is trying to go underground where it came from as he burns it with fire and cuts it with wind and crush it with it's own hole.
She rushes over and puts her hand on his shoulder as he looks over and sees her...ahhh, I can rest now it seems....he passes out and his hair now fully white turns back to red as he falls, she catches him and feels the magic running through him, as well as his body overheated through to much use of magic sense his body isn't adapted to it anymore. Sense he killed the monster already she looked for a list in his pockets and surprisingly found 1, and bought the stuff he was going to. Then carried him back to the room where she watched him rest to make sure he was ok.
