Sitting on the couch with a special selection of movies on the table and snacks, I wait for her.
"Oh yes I simply can not wait for tonight I....I'll call you back" she pausing closing her phone and looks at me. "My love? Wh-what is this?"
Looking away with confusion I frown slightly picking my nails.
"You said to set up a movie night tonight, so I did.."
Her features flash for a moment from paused and confused to annoyed and fed up, but quickly they change back.
"I'm busy my love, maybe another time." without a second glance she continues out the door.
Sinking down into my chair my mind shoots me with sadness and doubt.
'This is my fault I was to clingy'
'I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up'
'Whats wrong with me?!'
'I'm such an idiot!'
