Weekend
It was the night of the party and it was the night that we were going to let everyone know that Jai and I were dating. I was nervous, obviously. Jai was picking me up to take me to his friends, Andrew’s house. I didn’t know how people would react and i was scared that they would react in a bad manner and forbid us to date. Which we would anyway but i just didn’t want that hassle. I wore a short white dress that fell midway along my thighs that was flowy and silver, glittery ballet flats that matched the outfit perfectly. I had my hair in a loose, messy bun that sat on the right side of my head and was full of curls. It was my favourite hairstyle so i normally and usually had my hair up like that regularly. My make-up was minimal, just the usual eyeliner and lipgloss with a hint of foundation, nothing too extreme.
Just then the door bell rang and i knew exactly who it was. Jai. I ran down the hallway grabbing my back in the process, yelling goodbye to my parents and practically flew out the door and into Jai’s toned arms. I felt his strong tanned arms wrap themselves around my waist and pull me closer to him for a tight cuddle before we left. Might i add. He smelt AMAZING!
“You smell great” I giggled
“Why thank you my lady, you smell dashing” He said in a poor british accent
“Why thank you kind sir” I said in a british accent and giving him a curtsy.
We started down the road with his arm around my waist and my arm around his. He was leading the way as i had never been to Andrew’s house but i was taking note just incase we came here again. It was about a 10 minute walk and it was safe to say that i was lost and had no idea where we were but thank god that Jai was here with me, otherwise i would most probably be in a corner crying and scared about not knowing where i was. Even though it wasn’t far away from my house, i’ve never been on this side of town before. We walked up the driveway to a modern looking house that was painted with a lovely shade of brown, not too dark but not too light. A white picket fence circled the house in front of the luscious green grass that looked like the buffalo type, which might i add, was the best grass that you can possibly have. We walked up the driveway and we were standing in front of a white oak door with Jai’s arm still around my waist. Jai raised his tanned his fist and knocked hard on the door hoping that someone would hear his knock. To our great relief, someone did. A tallish guy answered the door and he had tanned skin and black hair. I was guessing that this was Andrew.
“ANDREW MATE” Jai yelled as he let go of me to give Andrew a man hug.
“JAI MY MAN!” Andrew said slapping him on the back. How cute
“Hey man, i’d like you to meet my girlfriend Taylor” Jai said as he looked at me with a huge smile plastered on his beautiful face.
“Hi” I said shyly sticking my hand out for him to shake
“I don’t do handshakes” Andrew said looking disgusted
“Oh” I said pulling my hand back to my side and looking to the ground
“I do hugs woman” He laughed and pulled me into a tight hug which i gladly returned.
“Nice to meet you” I said smiling whilst pulling back
“Nice to meet you aswell. I must say, you’re more beautiful than Jai lead on. And trust me, he told me you were extremely beautiful” Andrew said as he pulled back and resumed his position in the doorway.
“Aww, he did?” I asked blushing
“Of course” Andrew laughed and stepped aside for Jai and I to enter the house.
As we walked in i noticed how old and antique the furniture was. His house was a two story house and the stairs that lead to the second floor was right in front of me with cream carpet. The floors were a polished brown wooden colour and there was a beautiful aroma of roses. Im pretty sure as there was a bouquet of them sitting in a glass vase on the wooden table right next to the door with a mirror behind it. Andrew lead us through the hallway and into the lounge room that was exactly like the hallway but more lounge room styled. That was where we saw everyone sitting around and chatting about who knows what.
“GUYS” Luke screamed and came rushing over
“Hey” I giggled
“What took you so long?” Beau asked
“I picked up my beautiful girlfriend, like i told you” Jai said
“No, you said you were picking up Taylor. Who’s your girlfriend?” Beau asked
Could he seriously be more stupid.
“Taylor is my girlfriend” jai said slowly
“Oh” Beau said finally catching on to what Jai meant.
“FINALLY BITCH FACES!” Luke screamed and picked me up and started swinging me around.
I smiled hugely as i knew that this wasn’t going to be an issue between anyone. They were all genuinely happy that we were dating and thats all i wanted to hear and see. Once Luke put me down on the ground i felt an hand on my arm and spin me around. I felt myself hit Jai and his lips pressed against my lips. This was the first time that we’ve kissed and all i could say was that it was magical. It was like the room was empty and it was just the two of us kissing in the middle of the room. I guess thats what true love feels like? I don’t know. I hope Jai and i stay together for a very long time as i have liked this boy since forever. The party kicked off a couple of minutes later and the music was so loud you could feel the floor shake beneath your feet. As for I? I was in the middle of the living room dancing right in the middle of about twenty sweaty men who were fist pumping to a song that i have no idea, playing. Jai was dancing right beside me with the biggest smile on his face and looking genuinely happy with life which had only made me happy and content with mine. As long as he was happy, thats all that mattered to me.
A slow song started to play, i’ll be to be precise. I turned towards Jai as i had my back to him to find him bent over with his arm outstretched with his hand waiting for me to take hold of it. I flashed a toothy grin and placed my hand in his which he took and twirled me around making my dress flare out and making the loose strands of hair fly around. As i finished a twirl i was pulled towards jai with my face really close to his that i could feel his hot breath on my lips. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders as he placed his hands on my waist pulling me as close as he possibly could, smiling and looking into my eyes. We swayed to the music and enjoying being so close together whilst being around our friends. I knew that Luke was taking photos as i could see it from the corner of my eye but i shook it off not wanting to ruin the moment that Jai and I were having. Let him do what he wants with the photos.
After the song Jai grabbed my hand and lead me out of the room and into the backyard smiling as he was doing so. Once we got out to the huge backyard he pulled me close to him and rested his hands on my hips again as i wrapped my arms around his shoulders and nuzzling my face into the crook of his neck.
“Why did we come out here?” I asked with my face still buried in his neck.
“Privacy” He muttered
“Oh” I laughed and pulled my head back and pressing my lips against his.
I felt him press his lips harder against mine as if they were hungry for them.
“ALRIGHT LOVE BIRDS! BREAK IT UP!” Beau screamed from the back door.
I pulled away and snapped my head in his direction, shooting him a glare. Bloody Beau always has to ruin the moment. Always. No matter who it was, it was his thing apparently. A bloody annoying thing might i add.
