"I've heard a great deal about you, Fa Mulan. You stole your father's armor, ran away from home, impersonated a soldier, deceived your commanding officer, dishonored the Chinese Army, destroyed my palace, and... you have saved us all."
Li and Mulan sit in a park, abandoned, except for the two of them. They are talking about dragons, red Power Rangers, and whatnot. While Mulan was rambling, Li placed a strand of hair behind her ear, distracting her.
"Why'd you stop? I like it when you talk about how much you love dragons, Mulan." He says innocently.
Mulan raises an eyebrow. "What happened to 'My Lady'?"
"I wanted to use your name. I like it. A lot," Li looks at her, straight into her eyes. Those mesmmerizing brown eyes of hers. "Would you like to know something?"
"Sure."
"I really like you. Scratch that. I love you. Maybe when we first met..." He trails off.
"Please, that isn't possible."
"Trust me, Mulan. It is. It is because it happened when I met you. I'm sure of it. And I wasn't a believer of the 'love at first sight' thing before now, but..." Li sighs. "It's something different. You're different. And for me to find love at first sight means that you mean a lot to me. I swear I love you."
Before she could reply, he pressed his lips to hers.
