Ashton's POV
When we got to the field Jasmine quickly went to wear Luke specifically told her not to. The crime scene. She went up to the tape and walked right under it like it wasn't even there. "Hey Jas?" "Yeah?" What are we really doing here?" I need to see the scene up close. It was hard to see it from where I was when they discovered the body." So you were there. "Uh- no? please don't tell Luke." I won't. "Thank The Lord Jesus god." I chuckled at her choice of words. Let's just hurry and get out of here. "Okay! Okay. I'm almost done." Good. "I just need to look at a couple more things.

"Done!" Alright can we go? I asked. "Yeah. yeah. alright." We got in the car and started driving back- wait where are we going Jas? I don't really want to drive around blind. "wha- oh um what time is it? Half past five. "Okay, we can either go back to my house with my delusional grandmother.. or we can go to your house with your delusional friends. Either one sounds fine." I laughed at her sarcasm and told her my house. I don't really want to go see your delusional grandmother, old delusional people are worse than younger ones... no offense. "Ohh getting cheeky now aren't we Ash? Wink wink" haha lets just go. "your the one with the wheel." right okay. She snorted at my lack of ability to respond. Oh shut up will you? "Nope." I rolled my eyes at her stubbornness and started driving.

Jasmine's POV
.

It's just like cutting a chicken
The knife, the flesh
You just have to slide it across right there
Just like cutting a chicken
I see the knife the blood
The knife in the sink getting washed
just like cutting a chicken

I jolted up out of my bed, sweat running down my face. I looked around and saw nothing  but my room with the pictures of the 124 victims from my dad, well 125 with the count of my mom. but that wasn't confirmed. I turned to look at the time and saw it was almost four. There was no way I was getting more sleep after that dream. I walked downstairs careful not to wake my grandmother, I went to the front door and just sat out there with a cup of coffee I made before. I looked over at Ashton's house across the street and saw someone sitting out there with the porch light on. I walked over and saw Michael sitting there with Luke.

..

Luke's POV
Hey Jas what are you doing up? We have school tomorrow. "I can ask the same to you two." I made room for her in the middle of Michael and I and handed her a blanket we brought if we got cold enough where we needed two. "So, what brings you over here at this time of day?" Michael asks to try and make conversation. we haven't really ever had a conversation with her alone. Come to think of it every time we're with her everyone else is. Unless of course Ashton wants to hang with her, they hangout alone all the time. "Uh-well I just had a nightmare that's all. What about you?" "Well I just couldn't sleep at all and Luke here heard me and we just decided to hangout here and wait until we have to get ready in two hours. "Ugh it sucks not being able to sleep, I like sleep! How could I not sleep even though I like sleep!? It just doesn't make sense." I laughed at her little ramble and started talking. About little things that didn't really matter in the world.
