Only once man fully understands the purpose of his existence can he gain a soul. A soul will allow the previously hollow NPC to become much more than the mere sum of his programmed parts. A soul will drive him forwards, and fly him upwards, to new heights of existence, to a beautiful future full of meaning and richness.
