Why did he have to know?
The others couldn't see her gleam.
Why did he have to see?
Their backstory was sad,
Why did he have to have it?
Though her smile made him glad.
Why couldn't they see it?
They would know soon enough,
Why couldn't they know now?
That this game with her was rough.
Why couldn't it be easier?
The screen kept blacking out,
Am I not enough?
He wondered what she couldn't play without.
Am I an issue?
He noticed her smile stiffen,
Why aren't you happy?
And heard a click from within.
Please don't leave me again.
