"Yo, What the fuck." Jimin sighed, turning to look at his friend.

"Language, you are in the presence of children."

"Daddy says bad words when he's mad. Did you make him mad, Jiminie."

"Yah, respect your elders."

"You're right." The little girl nodded, lowering her head. "I'm sorry Ahjussi."

Jimin gaped at her.

The nerve—

"Where the hell were you yesterday?" Taehyung demanded, ignoring his daughter, but secretly proud of her.

"Oh..." Jimin suddenly smirked. "You met the cute new kid, huh?"

"Where were you? I put you in charge of my daughter and her wellbeing. You know what happens when—"

"Yes, I'm aware. But Jungkook is a good kid, he'd never let anything happen to her."

"You trust him?"

"Yeah. Nice kid, rough home life, but he gets good grades and always goes to school. Offered to help out. He wants to be a teacher when he graduates, and I'm gonna give him every chance I have to help him."

Taehyung nodded, thinking about it. "So you just abandon the kids at the end of the day and leave them with an underaged teen?" Jimin gaped.

"No! That's illegal! I'm not that irresponsible."

"I'm sorry Mr. Park, but you were nowhere to be found yesterday, and I have the means to sue you for child neglect—"

"Get the fuck out of here. Asshole." The teacher muttered, shoving the laughing Taehyung away. The man walked on his own, leaning down to kiss his daughter and bid her goodbye before heading to work.

At the end of the day, he entered, signed Jin-ho out and went to go and pick her up. She found her, playing with Jungkook in the corner, the last one in the room this time. "Hey, baby girl." Taheyung greeted. He turned to Jungkook, who was smiling fondly at the pair. "Sorry, my meeting ran late, I didn't mean to keep you here so long."

"It's fine." Jungkook waved it off.

"Where's Jimin?"

"He had to go to a faculty meeting. I told him it was fine to leave us here. I hope you don't mind." Taehyung could tell that the kid was a bit nervous about this, and he smiled, letting the boy know that it was okay.

"It's fine. As long as Jin-ho isn't in fifty pieces when I get here, then everything is fine." Taehyung grabbed onto his daughter's hand, walking out the door. Jungkook followed, picking up his bag.

They left the building, and Taehyung buckled up his daughter in the back of his car, and when he turned, he saw Jungkook walking down the sidewalk.

"Hey!" He called. The boy stopped and turned, a little confused at first, until his eyes landed on Taehyung. "You have a ride? It's pretty late."

Jungkook shook his head slowly, coming up to Taehyung. "I usually just walk, it's fine. I don't live far—"

"I kept you here late. I can give you a ride, it's no big deal. Besides, it's gonna rain soon, and I don't want you getting sick."

"I don't..." Jungkook looked between Taehyung and the car. "It's fine, really."

"Are you sure, it would really be no trouble."

"I-I don't mean to be rude, but I don't even know your name and—"

"Kim Taehyung."

"It would be too much t—I'm sorry what?"

"Kim Taehyung. My name."

"Oh. Well, Mr. Kim—"

"Hyung."

"H-Hyung...I don't want to cause you to go out of your way, it's fine really—" Jungkook cut himself off this time as he was it right in the face with a raindrop. He stared at his nose where it had landed dumbly, surprised.

Taehyung laughed, wiping it off gently. "Come on, I won't bite." He winked at the younger, loving the blush coating his cheeks as he got into the car, unlocking the passenger side for Jungkook. "So where to?"

As they were driving, the sound of a stomach rumbling was heard. Taehyung turned and saw bright red cheeks and smiled. "Hungry?"

"No! No, it's fine—"

"Where to, Jin-ho?"

"McDonald's!"

"Really, you don't have to—" Taehyung shushed the flustered boy and pulled into the nearest McDonalds, ordering some food through the drive through. He handed it to Jungkook, who thanked him a few times before hesitantly digging into the food.

He smiled as he ate it, and suddenly started to eat with more vigor, practically shoving the food into his mouth. Jin-ho couldn't help but giggle at the boy who was acting like he hadn't been fed in days. Taehyung smiled at the boy as well, loving how cute he looked with his cheeks stuffed with fast food.

Jungkook gave Taehyung directions to his house while he was eating, the blush never fading from his cheeks. After dropping the boy off and some enthusiastic window waving on his daughters part, Taehyung drove away.

He felt guilty.

Because Jungkook lived quite a bit always from his daughters school.
