"Conners taco hut is a mile away." Daniel says as you both walk quickly through the town. "Where you two headed?" A police officer asks you. "Conners Taco Hut." You say back as you hide your wrist. "You two soulmates?" He asks you. "Of course." Daniel says as the police officer glares at you. "Let me see your wrist." He says. "Me and my wife have got places to be." Daniel says as he starts to walk away. "Let me see your wrist young man." He says sharply. Daniel showed him his wrist. his tattoo read T-R-I-S-H. "That's her name, can we go now?" Daniel says sharply. "And your tattoo." The police officer says to you.
You scream as your tattoo surges in pain and glows excruciatingly bright. It shines on all your eyes and blinded you all, causing you to groan. You yell as Daniels hand grabs yours as you run. Your eyes adjust and you turn to see the officer rubbing his eyes as he try's to regain his sight. You and Daniel sprint into an alley way as your tattoo gets slightly darker. "That outburst of light must mean." You say out of breath. "He's here." Daniel says as he breaths heavy. "Come on we gotta keep going." You say as you yank Daniels hand. You head to the end of the alley way when you see a shadow and hear footsteps.
"Breaking the window!" You hear a voice boom. Your breath gets caught in your throat. All the events of last night flood into your brain causing you to stumble. Daniel rests his hands on your waist to balance you. "Y/N! You really thought you could run away from your soulmate!" Bryce yells as he comes into view. He locked eyes with you and your hand glows brighter and feels insane pain. "Leave." Daniel says loudly and sharply. You had never seen him this mad as his glare dug into Bryces soul. "You left me for this little bitch." Bryce says as his laugh echoes down the alley. He walks closer to you both. Daniel shoves you behind him and stares at Bryce. "How could you do this to me? I love you Y/N!" Bryce yells as a cocky ass grin forms on his face. "I hate you." You choke out as fear surged through your body. Your hand throbbed in pain, tears fell from your face as Bryces evil stare stung in your eyes.
