Lee woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. She quickly looked around to notice a note with the devil’s mask beside it. “I have some business to attend to but I hope to see you tomorrow at this address, my diabolical Angel. I had the chef brought in some food you might like so you won’t be late.” Lee read out loud. “Shit we have school.”

She scrambled getting up from the bed and looked out the window, mesmerized by the view. The view that looked eerily familiar to her, though she couldn’t put her finger on it.

She went back to the room and looked throughout it for her mask to see a scarf instead of it. "It's pretty chilly outside. Wouldn't want you to get a cold." Read another note. She looked down at the scarf and stuffed it in her purse revealing his devil's mask. She took that too before she left the big penthouse. She would’ve worn it if it wasn’t for the fact that she didn’t want anyone to know where she was last night.

Once she had gotten home she rushed around her house getting her uniform on and her bag packed with everything she needed.

"So where were you last night?" Her mom asked loud enough to be heard over the loud blender. “Should I punch someone for you?”

"Sorry, mom I spent the night at Vanessa's after the party was over.” She walked into the kitchen sitting at the counter in front of her mom. She glances down at her phone like she was checking messages. “I thought the message sent to you but I guess it didn’t send."

"Yeah, but why did you go to her house. The last you went her without my knowledge it was when you brother…"

"Mom trust me. The message just didn't send to you."

"Or is it because…." She trailed off looking like she just figured the missing piece of the puzzle, "Are you and Vanessa dating by any chance?" Her mom asked pouring the smooth in her container. "Or do you like Dan now? I always forget."

"Eww, mom. We're friends.” She said swatting away her mom and looked away from her mother. “Dan is finally dating Serena and Nessa… I… I don't think she would ever see me in that kind of way so what would be the point. I'm not Dan who can stand having a one-sided crush for so long." She added grabbing an apple and taking a huge bite.

She shrugged taking a sip from her bottle. "You won't know until you say something to her."

"Dan did and he got rejected real hard before she left." She pointed out before taking another bite. She looked at her wrist remembering she needed to get her watch from Dan.

Her mom rolled her eyes. "That doesn't mean she'll reject you too. That just means Dan wasn't the one for her and hey, now she’s back so maybe you could try to win her back after all this time."

"Well mom I’m sorry to burst your bubble mom, but I think it's a little too late to ask now." She said grabbing an apple before she left.

She was about to walk to school when she noticed the limo was still there. The driver opened the door to let her in. "I was instructed by Mr. Bass to take you to school in a timely manner."

Lee was driven to school by the personal driver she was assigned with. It was a little weird at first, especially when Blair was shocked to see Lee come out of the limo.

"I didn't know you could afford a limo. Did you finally learn how to use your bank account or did you bribe one of the St Judes boys because you definitely didn’t use your so-called boobs?"

"That’s funny coming from you, Virgin Mary.” She was about to leave but she turned around to say something else. “And frankly it's none of you business Blair so if you excuse me I'm gonna go find my friend," Lee says pushing her out of the way.
