Skeleton Titan

The eye sockets of the skeleton titan, Jack, ignited in a whirling blue flame. His body lit up as he heard the faint scream of an innocent child, which was nothing unusual. His lord was always eating, consuming whatever organic life found itself foolish enough to step foot on Death, the skeleton planet.

Sorrow overcame his spirit; such an unusual feeling for him. He couldn't help but feel pity for the poor soul, yet he had resisted stepping in between his master and their food for this long, so why stop now? He knew that rebelling against his master was to invite true death, the loss of self.

His predecessor had saved him in a similar fit of pity, and in turn Jack became the new skeleton titan. He was well aware the same fate awaited this tortured soul should he choose to intervene. Although in reality, it was probably better for them if they simply perished.

For a reason he couldn't quite put his finger on, he was okay with letting go. In all honesty, he was growing tired of his bleak existence watching over the ravenous skeleton planet.

He found himself lifting his hand up into the planet from his underground home, fishing around for the weeping soul. His arm latched onto the other bones, using them to expand as he continued his search.

The planet groaned angrily in response, but didn't fight against him as he carefully plucked the creature out of it. The consumption process was nearly complete, so piecing them back together was going to take quite some time.

As he placed them on a bone altar he summoned out of the ground, he began the agonizingly slow process of stitching them back together. With how small they were, it was going to be interesting to see how his master empowered them. If things happened the same way that they did when he was rescued, he would have a bit of time to teach the creature before he himself descended into insanity.

Once the painstaking work of stitching their body back together was finished, he leaned down for the finishing touch, careful not to squish them. In order to reanimate them, he breathed his spirit fire into the creature's now hollow insides, watching their empty eyes light up with the same blue fire that radiated within him.

"Welcome back," Jack uttered, his head directly above the recently revived creature. They were likely coping with how they couldn't feel anything, something Jack had gotten used to long ago.
