Jungkook stared down at the notification.

He was contemplating on wether he should reply now or if he should wait.

He decided to just text Taehyung back.

He quickly walked to his classroom, trying not to be anymore late then he already was and pulled out his phone

Jungkook:
sorry, I went to the bathroom, remember?

The response from Taehyung was almost immediate

Taehyung:
No you didn't
I went to look for you after you left and when I got there it was empty

Jungkooks eyes widened

He went to look for me?

Jungkook really did wanna tell Taehyung he didn't go but he got to nervous so he made up an excuse.

Jungkook:
I was in the second floor one

Taehyung:
I looked there too

Jungkook:
Oh

Taehyung:
I'm sorry Jungkook for what I did
I don't wanna keep doing it if it's gonna make you uncomfortable

Jungkook wanted to tell Taehyung 'no its alright' or 'I do like it', but he felt the urge to agree with him.

Maybe it would make Taehyung like him.. more?

Jungkook:
Yeah
It's okay tho, really
We can just ignore it :)

Taehyung:
Okay cool
Just friends?

Jungkook:
Just friends.

Right now Jungkook was at Jimin's house, almost on the verge of tears.

"Hush baby it's okay," Jimin patted the younger boys back to hopefully calm down Jungkook more.

"He doesn't like me Jimin," Jungkook began to sulk some more.

"It's not that he doesn't like you.. he just only wants to be only friends with you," Jimin continued to try and comfort the younger.

"I probably made him feel so bad Jimin, he was probably worried and went looking for me to apologize," Jungkook stopped as he choked on a cry but kept continuing after "and then when he noticed I wasn't in the bathroom— that I lied to get away, he must have felt awful."

Jimin sighed, "it's okay Kook, at least he still wants to be friends?"

Jungkook stayed silent.

His sadness had died down a bit and he was just resting his head on Jimin's shoulder.

Jungkooks phone then suddenly started to ring.

Without looking at the contact he answered the call and put the phone up to his ear.

"hello?"

"Jungkook, hi."

Jungkooks eyes went so wide, he lifted his head up from Jimin's shoulder in shock.

He wiped away the tears from the side of his cheeks that had fallen, and he continued to talk.

"Oh Taehyung?"

Jimin's eyes widened and mouthed the words 'is it him' and Jungkook nodded his head.

Jimin moved up close to the phone so he was able to hear what Taehyung was saying.
