Samantha is like my second mom. She was always there for me. Beating up bullies and getting expelled for me. Of course, my mom will always be my first mom, but Samantha was different.
I trusted her with all my secrets and told her about my boy-troubles.
But we never let a boy take up our time for each other.
Like for example, Samantha got her first boyfriend when she was 13 (very young I know) and I was 11 at that time. Now I honestly didn't like him since he simply ignored and never bothered to engage in small talk with me. So when I found out that they were going to the mall together, I decided to ruin their date.
I was selfish.
An hour after she left the house, I texted her and said that I wanted to do a movie marathon of Harry Potter because I knew that she was a fan.
Me: sam! watcha doin?
Tomathoe 😘: at d mall w/ David
Me: Movie Marathon?
Tomathoe 😘: Depends, wut movies?
Me: Harry POTATOE 🤣
Tomathoe 😘: STFU don't say that about Harry! Be there in 10 mins!
Me: luv ya samantha-banana
Tomathoe 😘: ily sheila-tequila
And just like that, Samantha abandoned her date.
Yes, they broke up. Although Samantha said she didn't mind, I could see that she felt torn. He was her first boyfriend so I guess he left a mark...
She got her second boyfriend not long after that. Charlie Lopez what certainly charming and he charmed me as well. He was actually the nicest out of all Samantha's boyfriends. He was friendly, smart and annoyingly funny.
Why annoying? Because you just couldn't stay mad at him because of the jokes he cracks.
Anyway, the reason why he and Samantha broke up was because Samantha got tired of him. They dated for like 3 months and then she decided that she didn't want him.
That was when I started to keep my first ever secret from her. I liked Charlie - and Charlie liked me.

"I'm not a baby!"
"Yes you are!"
"Am not!"
But we were Samantha and Sheila again. Sisters.
