Satan blinked awake hours later. As soon as he woke, the light that pervaded the chamber lit up again. He used his abundance of magic to dim it down again. His left arm was still wrapped around Eymber, who had all but melted into his hold in her slumber.
He craned his head downwards to look at the girl who was supposed to end the war. She was of medium build with nominal amounts of muscle, yet she had large breasts and hips. How strange… Eymber was naturally pale, but her experience in the cold had left her skin with a bluish pallor. Her face was lupine and had a serious countenance about it, even in the peacefulness of sleep. Eymber’s hair was a fiery colour that spread out around her head in a wreath of russet.
Satan sighed deeply, knowing that he couldn’t rise before Eymber awoke. He was loath to admit that to not have adequate rest wouldn’t help her in learning about Aerith Iblis. Satan, no matter what anybody who knew him said, was not a patient demon. He was spontaneous and to think before he leaped went against his very nature.
“Alciel, are you awake?” Satan thought to his friend. It took a moment, but Alciel acknowledge him and replied back with, “Yes, Sire. Do you need anything?”
“The High Priest Aurin will want to know of any activity in the portal, but I do not wish to tell him of the girl falling through it. How can we get around this?” he asked. He felt Alciel sigh. “We can’t do that. If there’s only one thing that we can do good for the humans, is that we stay true to our agreement that we tell them what happens at Xarix,” he replied.
Satan grunted angrily, but his advisor did have a point.
He was momentarily distracted by Eymber shifting about. She nuzzled her face into his chest, letting out a soft sigh of content. He wondered what she would do when she woke up... She seemed like the kind of human to angrily lash out at him, and her arm was dangerously close to his groin. Satan didn’t fancy getting hit there by a frail looking human girl.
So he sat up as quietly as he could, leaning his back against the wall. He gently pulled Eymber forward between his legs, so that Eymber’s legs were stretched out along his own, and her head was resting comfortably against his chest once again.
She shifted again in response to the movement, but did not wake up. This caused her butt to rub against his crotch. Satan’s gaze flicked down, his pupils narrowing as an inkling of lust filled his eyes. Eymber’s bottom remained pressed up against him, making heat begin to radiate from his lower regions.
“Satan,” Alciel suddenly warned inside his head. “You are not to bed the mortal.”
Satan opened the communication on his end. “I suppose you’re right, Alciel,” he growled. His arousal was egged on by the fact that, by the way she was laying, he could see right down the plunging neckline of Eymber’s dress. He took a deep breath, and calmed himself to the point where he was no longer ready to rip of Eymber’s clothes.
Suddenly, Eymber’s blue eyes blinked open. She grunted, raising her head. It took her a moment to realise where she was, but when she looked up at Satan’s face she screamed.
Immediately, Eymber scrambled awkwardly out from between his legs and stumbled onto the floor near his bed. In her hurry to get out of the bed, she had forgotten to throw the blankets off of her. She tripped and landed flat on her stomach.
Promptly, she flipped over onto her backside and scooted away until she was halfway across the room, sitting on the cold floor. There was silence, punctuated only by the fearful breathing that was coming from Eymber.
“I like your thong,” Satan commented, his eyes wandering between her legs. Eymber, who was quickly beginning to get her wits about her, snapped her legs closed and stood up as fast as she could. She was blushing, which stood out more on her pale face.
