A Hybrid's Journey

Secrets Unwinding.

Sirix has been having strange encounters with this cloaked figure on the quest to find her parents. The mysterious entity always pointed out the directions to everywhere she needs to go. Sirix had asked around several places for the name of this figure. All that was said was that he allegedly was called the "Master of Masters" and that was a powerful, all-seeing, and unidentifiable being. Sirix wondered who this could possibly be and made a mental note to try and find out the next time they encountered. If he was some  "Master of Masters", then why was he helping her? 

Sirix was climbing up the side of a rock formation to locate the map to a certain cave within the middle of the sea. A violent storm began to brew out of nowhere. The torrential downpour progressively made it harder for Sirix to stay on the rock and as if luck couldn't be worse, Sirix was now barely hanging on to the now slippery stone. She was several feet up and if she fell, it was pretty much game over. Just as Sirix was about to fall to her doom, a strong grip on her wrist broke the fall. Sirix looked up to see the Master of Masters looking down at her. He pulled her up to the top of the large rock and sat down with her in his lap. 

Once both of them calmed down, Sirix asked: "Who are you and why are you helping me?" The Master of Masters began to take off his hood. Sirix nearly fainted at who exactly the identity of this "all-powerful" mystery was. It was her friend and long time crush, Demyx. She immediately crushed him in a hug. But there were a lot of questions to be had. How could he be such a strong and respected figure to many? Sirix let go and stuttered "But...but how are you-" and before she could utter another word, Demyx cupped Sirix's rosy cheek and closed the space between them. Sirix could feel her void of a heart pounding inside her chest and her face heating up, ignoring the storm happening around her. Her eyes fluttered closed as she leaned into his kiss, never wanting this moment to end. A bolt of lightning struck rather close to them, unfortunately ending the bliss. 

After a small freakout, Demyx just chuckled and petted Sirix before he said: "You have proven to me that even the darkest of secrets can be broken..." Demyx kissed Sirix's cheek and continued his speech "With love..." Sirix smiled and nuzzled Demyx like a kitten before saying. "You will still continue to accompany me on my journey, right?" To which the water-bender smiled and replied "Of course. After all, a Master has to protect his subjects." Demyx then stood up and extended a hand to Sirix. She giggled and placed her daintier hand in his, ready for anything.
